Okay, James Patterson is like, my GOD. He is the most amazing author ever! Maximum ride was a great book. I read it twice! Haha, I loved the characters, I thought they were cute. :) The third book was espescially good in my opinion.

I have the first book I believe. I've just bought it because it was really cheap and I heard it was really good.
But my brother has it right now because he claims he needs to start reading, so he's just picking from my range of options. ><
I need to read it soon. ^^

Oh, dear! Just love them!
James Patterson is an amazing author, and when I picked up Max. Ride, I couldn't put it down. I think it was four days that I finished it, because I couldn't find time to read, and Mac was a day late with the last book, on lending it to me. :P
Beautiful books. Full of feeling and emotion. A total must-read.
Also, don't be drawn away from it, boys, just because it's full of emotion. I know many boys that have absolutely melted over it XP
One of my favourite series. Just amazing.

Wow, talk about bringing back an old thread, looks like...
Five being... Max, right? It was pretty good, I guess. Better than four, anyway. I personally liked the first couple the best. The villains seemed so much more real than "Hey, we need someone to be the bad guy." Besides, as much as I love overpowered main characters, even I kind of have to step back and think when people start spontaneously sprouting gills. :/

I've read the first three and I'm looking to invest in the manga because it is gorgeous.
I had no idea there was a fifth one.

LOVED this series, to the degree my friend went out to the fabric store and bought stuff to customize me some clothes that had the characters names, quotes, and much more. I was so happy!
Iggy's my favorite character. He's so cute!

I love Maximum Ride! But the fourth book made me die a little. Why, James Patterson, why?! The plot was amazing until then! And then (dangerous music) you introduced Brigid.
FAX! It's all I ever write about. (Yay fanfiction!)
Has anyone else heard the they might make Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson Max and Fang? I'm not sure if it's true but there's a petition against it and I wanted to know if anyone else heard it, too.

The first two books were good, but the third and fourth were absolute flops. I don't even want to read the next one.
EDIT: If they make Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson as Max and Fang, I will lose all faith in books being converted to movies. Worst actress/actor EVER.

I LOVE THIS SERIES. But the major downfall of it turning into a movie is that Cathrine Hardwicke the director for twilight is going to direct the making of Maximum Ride The Angel Experiment.

MAX is the only Maximum Ride book I own and it wan't as good as the first three books. There's a whole lot of fax, though, which is good. But it made me hate Angel because it made her look like such a brat.

I admit that I really like the Maximum Ride series, despite being just a little too old for it. (Eighteen, that is.)
It was a bit cheesy, what with the "Kids of the world, we have to save the environment! Don't let the adults bring you down!" but the short-and-to-the-point chapters were interesting, and it's a fun series to read.
But I would definitely say that the series is aimed more at 12-14 year olds.
