I've had that on my "to read" list for a while now. When I went to Hot Topic one day, I got a free little CD for songs for Maximum Ride: Schools Out- Forever. The story sounds interesting and I'm hoping to get a hold of a copy soon ^^

I found Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment in my school library and glanced at it. Ohhh, man! I was instantly hooked! It's such an awesome book! But then I'm a fan of stuff like X-men (not that it's that much like X-men) and I was dying for something of that kind of topic.

I can't wait to get a hold of Maximum Ride: School's Out Forever!!

By the way, if you go to maximumride.com you can vote for it to become a movie!!

I can't wait.. I CAN'T WAIT for the third book. Patterson is reportedly starting on the fourth book right now! This is such a good thing for me, because I'm such a big fan of Max and the other kids. Izzy and Fang are my favorites though. c:

You guys know about the movie apparently coming out next year or the following year? <33

Excellent book ^^ I'm quite fond of it. Not exactly what I'd consider fine literature but a good thriller read nonetheless.

Interesting tidbit: I was a mod on the forums at one point. Actually, I technically still am, but I don't too often anymore. ^^;

I just bought the third book but haven't had a chance to crack into it XD, I've loved the series and ususally finish the book in a single sitting (I usually don't read books much). I love the plot characters and settings, I've also read the lakehouse.

It strangely reminds me of anime >_<~!

I don't like the people on the cover of the third book though, thats so NOT how I picture everyone looking!

A hearty amen to that D: I think JP's getting way too much into this hipster punk teen thing... it's kinda annoying :<

Lake House + When the Wind Blows? ^^; They were really good but I liked MR better D: WtWB/LH Max isn't as cool xp

I totally like Max ride better, but WTWB and TLH helped filled the gap of reading between MAX 1 and 2. Do they have any actors listed for the movies? I just hope there nothing like the people on the book covers X_X!

Unless it's changed since I last visited the site, I'm pretty sure they've already picked out a Max.

I just... ugh. The movie better be fantastic, because I'm already hesitating over whether I should go see it. I haven't even been thinking about the third book lately, and I still haven't read it yet after all this time; the forums are a disaster, last I went.

I'd forgotten what obsessive, often arrogant teenagers were like. @[email protected]

Still, if I see AOES I'll buy it. If nothing else, then to lend my dad the book - he was the one who introduced me to the series, sadly enough. He thought TAE was an adults' book. XD

They already have a max! *Shudders* I feel disaster brewing ;_; I decided to stay up reading last night and OMG some of the stuff that happens in the third book is OMG amazing and OMG horrible, including a very weird plot twist that I haven't decided if I like yet.

But yeah, when the second book came out I nearly leaped over bookshelves to get it, and now months later I am just sitting down to read the third book. It feels good to read again though~!

And no matter what direction the book turns I still love all the characters~! Max totally burns people like fifty two billion times in the third book, and fang has some major Bishie moments XD And I'm only on part 50-ish (I have no idea if you'd call those chapters or whaat...

I love the series, follow the release dates, but don't follow any of the hype. Sometimes it feels like overkill.

Angel wins for my favorite character. I love some of the things she did in the third book.

My favorite book remains the first, though, I think.

The first is my fav too, I liked the third though. Except the end was a little blah since some of the main characters where missing at certain points. I can't wait for the forth~!

I hope theres more scenes that are Fang+Max And FangxMax.

>//////< Eeeks there so cute together~!

They really, really are :)

And I love Max's narrative voice. It's very well-written first-person, in my opinion.

I haven't read them, but they look interesting... (I'm always paranoid about buying a book that I know nothing about.)

They're definitely in my favourites list.

It kind of annoys me that the chapters are so short sometimes, but it's still awesome.

I started to read the first one then lost interest. I'm not sure why I stopped reading it though. I guess I should pick it back up one of these days. : D

Just have to sit back and wait for the 4th book to come out. From what I hear, it's due spring 2008.It's a lovely series that allows people in the real world to connect with the characters because of the real-world setting.

It is absolutly awesome! with a rollarcoaster plot i didn't want the series (trilogy?) to come to an end  and i would love for the books to become a movie but you have to wonder whether there will be the complete mess-up that movies sometimes do where they aren't like the book at all. I hope that doesn't happen, or....
I hope no one decides to follow the Scientists example for real and create avian children.
Although... how cool would it be to fly with wings? *pondering deeply*

I liked Maximum Ride, but some of the characters were a bit annoying to me. Although it isn't one of my ultimate favorites, it was a good read. I enjoyed the first book the most, but the rest were also okay.
