hah hah, PERFECT wording, may I say XD Although I never really fell for Richard since I didn't read the books in order :d I found out he was a jerk BEFORE how nice and sweet he was Xd

I was made to read them in order because I stumbled across them at a friends house. I was browsing through the Harlequin and she goes "No, no, no! You have to read this first." and handed me Guilty Pleasures, lol. I lucked out because she had them all.

i love laurel k. hamilton's stuff. i love the anita blake series but i think my favorite book by her is nightseer. really really really really really really wish she had kept going on that one. and if she did and i dont know it please let me know! FREEKIN AWESOME BOOK!

Only things she is working on seems to be Anita at the moment. Her Facebook said she just started another AB book, xD

well now i can't finish reading club vampire because i need to read harry potter, and now i have another book to read that has to do with the true blood series on hbo -.-

I haven't read the books that True Blood's based off of but a friend's mother of mine has been reading them since "Dead Until Dark" came out. She finally saw the show and won't watch it now because she said they messed of the time setting from the book or something. *shrugs*

I don't know though...I can't find the books at the library and I don't have HBO. =(

True Blood looked pretty good :) I might search it up later...hm....although I totally wish that they'd have an Anita Blake series out!!! >.< at least the first part would be good :) like, there's this other series called...errr...Blood Price by Tanya Huff that got made into a series called "Blood Ties" and it was an awesome series <3 but then they stopped at the end of season 2 because they ran outta money :P (It was a Canadian/Toronto company making it) and I would have been totally interested in seeing what they were going to do in later scenes because the later scenes (in the book) where ALMOST like Anita Blake books XD

A tv series for AB? Laurell K. Hamilton loves her characters too much for it really. Unless they gave her 100% control she probably would never let it happen.

please don't let that happen, i'd hate its bad enough they made movies for twilight(and yes even if you hate twilight the books are alot better than the movies). I didn't know true blood was based off of a book series until my neighbor gave me one of the books as a gift.

IFC was going to do a series for Anita but they were too controlling. That shows me that if she does let someone make a movie/tv show of the Anitaverse, it'll be taken care of well because if they try anything to make it suck Laurell won't allow it to happen at all. She's a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to her characters. I love how she writes because she becomes friends with her people as if they are real. :D
