One of my all time favorite books!
It's a really amazing read...
I'm just sort of depressed...
I don't really want the movie to come out on June 12th..
It's not really fair if you ask me,
Cause it's not going to be a great movie,
i can tell from the previews,
it makes me mad
when people take books
and ruin it

the book was really good! It's something that you could pick up and read again
Don't watch the movie if your afraid it's gonna spoil the book. I saw the trailer too and...it doesn't sound like a well made movie. It really does suck when people turn books into movies and just destroy the goodness of it D:
btw, your signature/picture is 519pixels wide. the maximum is 500 x 500 so a little reduction would be nice :]

The movie was absolute trash. They changed the storyline around so that it was a completely different thing from the book. Not only was it a horrible adaption, but it was a poorly made movie in general. Oh and I was so disappointed by the casting. No one looked/acted like I imagined from the book, some of them weren't even close.

>.< They changed it enough so that they didn't have credit. I personally could see it better as a miniseries if they followed the book, but it makes a better book than anything!
I loved the book in highschool, but my tastes have changed a bit in reading material. :?

Really? Never thought of it as a required reading type material.
So we have this girl. She's a werewolf. Her dad's dead, lives with her mother. She has a guy in the pack who digs her, but she hooks up with a human boy from school. She's always distanced herself because of the problems that occure when people find out, but she doesn't really associate with her cousins the way her cousins associate with eachother. So when she goes out with this boy she gains friends, and understands the human idea of friends. Her family doesn't approve of her boyfriend, and problems arise.
Naturally her family fallows wolf pack guidlines and society, and the guy who likes her is an alfa male. Really its everything you should expect from a highschool werewolf story starring a female.
If your someone who likes vampire books, you might like this. Really if you like reading teen fiction, or more specifially teen fantasy, you would probably like it. Try it out, if you like it read the author's "Silver Kiss" which is about vampires... its a darker story. Don't read her scifi book... its no where near as good as her fantasy.

I loved Blood & Chocolate, and I have to agree that the previews for the movie look stinky. I'm not going to watch it, it infuriates me when they make movies out of stuff and turn it to crap. :x Especially if they aren't giving the author credit... :o

i absolutely adored the Book :D but the Movie
i wish it would find a pyre and die! It was so off the book, the only similar thing was the
names
and the fact they were werewolves
who ever made the movie obviously had never even picked up the book
Still you can only love the book

- Wow... it's been so long since I've read the book, I didn't realise how much they changed for the movie. It was bugging me for quite a while that I thought the main character had been in high school and that it wasn't set in that city, but I sort of shrugged it off and told myself I was mixing it up with another book... Glad to know I'm not going crazy. XD
I really loved the book. I loved it so, so much. I borrowed it from the library when I was 15... I want to find a copy and buy it now. X3
I liked the film too, because it's been so long since I read the book. I wasn't able to appreciate quite how much they changed the story, so I enjoyed it on its own merits. ^u^ In particular, I thought the change from human to wolf was pretty well done, graphic-wise. And they were actual wolves~! It bugs me so much when werewolves are depicted as man/wolf/chihuahua things when they're no supposed to be (I'm looking at you, Prisoner of Azkaban D<).

I liked the book alright, It's never been my favorite, but I still like to reread it. Unfortunately most movies derived from books aren't as good as I hope they'll be. Like the Dark is Rising Movie that is coming out, it looks like they completely changed a lot of the book, which really disappoints me.

I got extremely mad when they messed up the movie! I knew that the book would become a movie when I first read the book back in 2004. But I thought the movie would go along with the storyline from the book, but when I saw that they changed the WHOLE thing, I couldn't stop yelling or ranting for a whole week, lol.

Okay, the movie made me pissed off. They completely butchered The Blood and Chocolate story line.
The book is the better half by ten fold. End of story.
