Has anyone read these books!? I love them! The story is so well written and it really makes me think of what might happen in the future!

you know there is a new one? It's called, um, Extras, my friend is reading it. I never finished Specials for some reason, i don't remember why, but I will as soon as i finish Fly By Night.
anyway, my friend said Extras is really good. She put off Potter and Valiant, I think, for it.

O, I got half way through Fly By Night! So far I'm trying to finish Specials first! Then I'll read Extras, then finish Fly By Night!

I learned about it in a book talk, it's a recommended book. Do you think I would enjoy reading it, or is it kind of boring? :lol:

Well, like every book it has it's boring points and Pretties isn't as good as Uglies or Specials but it's really good! You just have to deal with boring points ANd some really wierd use of grammer!

that's kind of weird, don't you think? that it's like the opposites.

I just finished Specials, the last of the three! The book is hard to put down... >.<

I didn't like Pretties all that much. The other two were great!

I really like Fly By Night! I would have to say that I'm probably an Ugly or a Smokie! I'll never be a pretty! I wouldn't let them make me one!

I'd be the Smokie who sneaks into town to steal books. That's what I'd do. Yep. I'd be a tricky bookworm.

I loved those books though! I started reading the first one in my english class, and got so hooked that I went out with my birthday money and spent half of it getting the full series. The lady at the cash register thought I was crazy. (Though, the lady behind me had the full Twilight series in her arms...soooooo.....yeah. ><)

Extras was a bit slow, but once it picked up, I liked it alot!

But, I would definately reccomend those books to anybody who wants a great read about what could happen to our societies somedays.

Specials was good. I just didn't like some of the things that happened in it....I promise not to say anything until you read it though. That'd ruin it all.

I don't like Tally being a Special... It seems that she has been everything you can be in the book!

She does....it's kind of odd. Even if she changes through it all.

Omg i love all these books but i didn't like extras as much because tally wasn't in it until half way through the book but i would say i would be a cutter if i had to pick a group. But i love the books i hope he writes more!

I really can't wait to read extras, but I still think Uglies was the best book!

I just finished reading all three of these books about a week or two ago. I adored them. I loved how the main character always over comes what they do to her, without having any help, and how David is there for her even though she tires to push him away. I am hoping to read Extras soon, but I will have to wait untill I have a bit of cash so I can order it. If I was one of the groups I would either be an Ugly or a Smokie. I love being in the outdoors and I also love reading and I like who I am, I don't need surgery to be happy with myself.

Extras was good, and the new point of veiw was interesting, Tally was still, well Tally, but I wouldn't want to spoil it for anyone, but the series was good.

you forgot extras, and I do not know for I have not read any of the books. All of my friends have talked about them since seventh grade and not my sister talks about them.

I'm halfway through Specials right now..I got the first three all for Christmas, and they are just great ;D
I don't know whether I am going to read extras though..depends on how Specials turns out I guess.

I like all the books, but I like Pretties and Extras best. So I guess I'm special. XD; lol me.

Anyway, I like how you can see Tally developing. She's never the same throughout each book. And all the new people she meets, and the pieces of life she looks at, it's simply amazing. And I liked it when the focus changed to Aya in Extras. She's more like me, so I like her a lot more than Special-Tally.

I'd be a Pretty if I were to be in the books. Lol, sry. Bubbleheadedness suits me. Huhuhuhu. I think, though, that I'd want to be a surge monkey, a la Extras, more. I want to change my eye color every week! And have weird eyes and limbs! YEAH! >3<

All of my friends have been passing these around.
I think I may pick them up soon. I've got a pretty huge reading list to go through though.
I've been kind of iffy on if I should read them or not..
They look so..chicky.
