The Tale Of Despereaux
Being the story of a mouse, a princess, some soup, and a spool of thread!

I was enchanted by this story! The story of a misfit mouse who falls in love with a human princess! So cute! I just fell in love with this little mouse who felt that light was beautiful, music was like honey, reading was better than scurrying and that stories can save your life!

My favorite charcter would have to be a tye between Despereaux and Roscuro.
My favorite part is when Pea asked Mig what she wanted. No one had ever listened to what Mig wanted ever! It was a really sweet moment.
I think that there is no better way for a parent to show their love then to name their child after something they really love!
I felt bad for Roscuro! All he ever wanted was light! If you think about it, he is just like Despereaux! He chased after what he thought was lovly, a misfit like the mouse, but when what he thought was lovly saw him and said he was ugly, he was crushed... and he became depressed! That's all! He wasn't ever evil, just a bit confused.

i love this book!!!! i cant wait till the movie comes out!! but i wish they would cast someone else for the part of rascuro.

My favorite character was Pea.
My favorite part was the end when they all had soup.
When the queen dies from the rat in her soup I almost cried.
You can name your kid whatever you want. Who cares what others think?
I liked Roscuro. Everybody deserves to have some light.
Everybody.

My book club read this book. I remember that everyone hated it (Except for me of course) because the one girl was beaten until she got cauliflower ear. I thought the book was was adorable.

I love that book... It's adorable, I've had it for years. But I thought the movie was a bit disappointing.

Hmm, I had to read this in 4th grade, I don't think I liked it very much at the time, but I plan on reading it eventually. It's on my big list of things to read' XD
