Hallow earth...your thoughts?

Many people think that faeries and pixies are real...that they are in our world...I beg to differ...in 1906 a book was resealed called the phantom of the poles by william reed...this book held a concept that some thought the author to be crazy...I thought it to be interesting. There is a myth...about the hallow earth....a myth that says what we see of the earth is ours...but only a thin layer of crust is under us...and the rest of the earth is hallow... When I first read this I thought it to be crazy...but further studies have added to the myth. What if what we know is all a lie...what would happen when if's became truths and myths reality....would you mind venter into a world that you thought only to be in books and fairy tales...or would you venter and take a risk to find what faeries and nymphs...after all seeing is believing...

It was early in the years when people first thought of this myth...but after some startling news and discoveries it is not a shock to find that more and more people are not only thinking about it but believing it. The phantom of the poles shows forests of mushrooms as travelers head to middle earth...An ESSA-7 satellite picture of the north pole, when the earth tilted and the light hit it the satellite took the picture. When scientists first got the picture they had demanded a retake. For the picture showed a perfect hole were the north pole (aka the rift) was supposed to be. Many were shocked to see that it was perfect in shape and diameter.

Are there or were there cretures on our mother earth. Creatures like the loch ness monster and the monster of the bolinas swamp in California...along with the big foot and the abonabel snow man are just some of the ones that people have claimed to see. Referring back to The phantom of the poles, they say that these rifts may grant creatures access to our world. A geological crack that goes through Scotland is said to be the only place were Nessie...or the loch ness is supposed to have been seen, and the monster of the bolinas swamp in California is supposed to have been seen only on the rift line coming down from San Fran, the territory also of the hairy big foot.

I would like to know your thoughts of the myth of hallow earth...

Seems like there wouldn't be enough mass in the earth then to have gravity, also the air would be much denser as it got closer to the center, probably would liquify at some point anyway.

A hallow earth would be like great! I love worlds with faries and creatures, that we think only exist to be in our minds! I enjoy movies like Bridge To Teribithia! I really enjoyed how they used there immagination, in creating a world of mythical fictional characters. And If people really say they've seen Nessy, or big foot, or The Abonabel snow man, and that monster, They probably really did see them, there were cases of a weird looking monster like Big foot, that got hit by a car up in Maine, I dont know if that was true or false, but if the person that actually hit the beast seen it, its probably real, and theres probably more than one of them! Well yeah I think that picture of the Hallow earth is amazing, That would be truley fasinating I f there was really a hallow earth, or maybe there is a hallow earth, I dont know but that would be cool to live in a land with like, Giants, faries, dragons, and like all sorts of creatures! and like there would be a bad like evil part of that world, I always like daydream during 4th period about that kind of stuff, then I get carried away and start like drawing things from the magical world! ^_^;;

Interesting.. I've never heard of this before. Now you make me want to go and see if they have that book at my libary. xD

But, then, how are Volcano's explained? O_o Doesn't the lava form at the center of the earth, and then rise up over time?

Some would think that to be the case...but there are amazing records of the extensive cave and tunnel structures beneath france and other countries. Like the tunnels much used during the vietnam war, those of europe were resorted to as refuge by the local people in time of trouble. The tunles were found as a conection to the 'under world' but the people were shocked to find that over have of these natural tunles were man made the rest was natural...explorers went through said tunnals and they stretched...far...

Link: I thought that too but the I went and red phantom of the poles...and I was amazed at what I read...

I have never heard of this, it's really neat. Question, did say? Tolkien drive his inspiration of middle earth from say Hollow earth? To me they sound similar.

Or do you think there's a connection? Or is it just a plain old religious allegory?

Pink Pantzer, you'll be losing the gold you gained for the unnecessary "---" lines in your post.

On a related note, this is the first time I've heard of this myth. The idea just doesn't come off as plausible to me. ^^;
