What book are you currently reading in school? What do you think of it?
Do you agree with me that books are a lot better when you aren't reading them for school? Why do you think this is?
What has been your favorite and least favorite books you've read in school?
What is your favorite and least favorite parts of reading? What is the easiest and the hardest?
I think there's a bunch of grammatical mistakes in that, and I know that I mixed up singular and plural words a couple of times. But hopefully you'll still be able to read it.

Yeah, I like books out of school, basically cause in school, you get tested on the book, and discussed and takes all the fun out of it. I read the Odyssey in school. Books are pretty easy for me to read, so no hard parts usually. I dislike the Martian Chronicles and I like the Odyssey

I'm reading A Streetcar Named Desire, and I hate it. It's all about sex, which I have absolutely no interest in, and all of the characters are idiots. If your husband is hitting you, and you run away, don't go back. It's basic common sense.
My least favorite book I've ever read in school was A Separate Peace. I thought I was going to die before I finished reading it, it was so horrible.
My favorite part of reading is learning new words. The vocabulary is also the easiest part of reading for me. However, the part of reading I like the least is symbolism and metaphors. How does someone sneezing an odd number of times mean that we landed on the moon at 7:26 am? I survived my midterm by memorizing the spark notes, but I have no clue what I would do if I ever had to read a book that there aren't spark notes.
I'm really not writing well today. Ignore the fact of that I'm mixing up tenses and breaking a bunch of grammar rules. I'll edit my post and fix it sometime later when I'm thinking better.

Not currently in school, so nothing to read for it.
During middle and high school, we had a reading program which I detested. It was based on your projected reading level, and I had a college reading level since 4th or 5th grade, so my options were limited. So I really do agree that it can be better when you don't have to read a book for school. I think it's due to the desire to read something; if it's not a book you're interested in, you probably won't enjoy being required to read it.
My favorite was probably Macbeth. I actually like Shakespeare. My least favorite was Lord of the Flies.
My favorite thing about reading is the books themselves, and how they can capture your imagination. My least favorite is that I read too fast. ^^;; The book's over too soon for me.

Reading has always been a favorite of mine and most of my english teachers didnt really do reading assignments...there were some yes but not enough! Last book i read for school was...lemme think. Angelas Ashes. Interesting book there...
