The Wiki article

I just read this book last week. It caught my eye in a store, and I bought it on impulse.

I finished it in three days. I would have finished it sooner, but I was trying to make it last longer. XD
I just couldn't put it down.
It was a truly spectacular read.

So I was wondering, who else has read this book? What did you like about it? Was there anything you didn't like?
Discuss the book. ^^

I haven't read it, but I did see it in the store and wanted to read it just because it had the word elephant in the title xD. What sort of book is it genre wise?

Wah! I forgot that I made this thread! So sorry for the late response.
Anyway, I'd call it... historical fiction, I guess.

Basically, what it is is an old man (90 or 93. He can't remember which) recalls his days working on a circus when he was a young man.
The story is SO good, though. I'd recommend it to just about anyone.

There IS some sexual content, though. But it's not horrible.

This book is hilarious, and sad, and oh-so good. I love it when the older version of the character talks. His humor. I just loved it.
I'd love to read more of Sarah Gruen's works.

There is some abuse, but it's not over the top, because it's not dwelled upon.
