Holy shit! Trafalgar Law appeared! o wo!! |
Okay seriously, Usopp has a seed for EVERYTHING. A banana boat!?! Come on now!
So Law is now a Shichibukai after sending the Marines 100 pirate hearts. Thats gross. I'm curious to know A) why he is on that island and what all his tests are about B)what the heck did he do in the past 2 years to get the highest bounty shown so far and why did he become a Shichibukai?? I love that Smoker is in this arc too. Im not sure if it was meant to be this way but its funny how Smoker tried to stop the Straw Hats from getting to the Grand Line and now he is meeting up with them as soon as they appear in the New World. |
Hahaha, yeah, the banana boat doesn't seem too bad, I remember some of the other plants he had which were rather bizarre... And it seems like a huge misunderstanding in the brewing between the Strawhats and the centuars. |
I know. I wonder who their boss is and what Law did to them besides most likely making them mutants. Also what happened to Bepo and the other guys we saw before of the Heart Pirates?
I laughed so hard at Brook being freaked out by the guys torso and calling him gross!!! Smoker can't be Smoker unless he has his cigars. Even with a gas mask on. |
Yeah, they all seem to be some kind of animal-ish hybrids. |
Man, Law is just so freakin' sexy now. I really hope he's still an ally of the Straw Hats, though I wouldn't mind seeing a battle between him and Luffy.
Also... I'm a tad bit confused as to what's going on. I hope I'm not the only one. |
Oh Gods...this chapter's so funny. http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/m...Smileys/27.gif |
For some reason, Chopper in Kung-Fu point is like the cutest thing ever to me. Especially the face he makes once he stepped in that frozen chamber. Also Franky would be an awesome dad. He was so cute with the kids! I love how everyone was like OH UM... LETS GO FIND A BACK DOOR!!!
I wonder how the rest of this arc is going to play out. So far there are a lot of things going on and none of them connect in any sort of way. |
Yeah, Chopper's adorable in Kung-Fu point! I like how the others kept on referring to him as a tanuki. |
Instead of clearing things up, it just got to be even more confusing! First off all, Brownbeard is their boss! How did that happen especially after his fight with Hawkins? Plus now he is part crocodile! I loved Robin, Luffy, and Zoro's faces when they said warm clothes.
Also he made the rest of the Straw Hats switched bodies!!! How are they going to change back?! They haven't even noticed the change yet! This arc is just getting weirder and weirder and more confusing! |
....I KNEW that guy looked familiar! :XD! Totally forgot he was (still is?) Brownbeard. |
This update was really fast paced. Finally got a better look at the harpy girl! She is really pretty. Who the hell is the sludge/lava/whatever looking guy!? Is Law taking order from him? Or are they working together.
I like how easily Luffy and the rest defeated that group. Then proceed to use Brownbeard as a ride lol. omg noooooooooooooooo at Smoker. He is one of the only Marines I like and Law took his heart!!! What is going to happen to him?! Ugh this arc is so coo coo but in a good way! |
Yeah, so much stuff happened! o __o;; |
I don't think Smoker's gonna die. Law's taken off other people's heads and arms and they're completely fine, right?
|
Yeah, doesn't seem like Oda's style to let someone die like that, aside from Ace. But why else would Smoker collapse like that? Maybe it's a different form of separation...'MES' (heart-pokey-out) instead of 'SHAMBLES' (flying dismembered limbs everywhere). And I think part of the reason the people whose heads and stuff were separated and were fine were because they were still inside Trafalgar's 'Room', while by the time Smoker got his heart poked out, the Room had already been deactivated. (as far as I could tell from the manga, anyway) |
:gonk: Ace. Luffy tried so hard to save him! And Whitebeard. He was a good man as pirates go. That was horrible.
... I have no idea. What could "Mes" mean? All that comes to mind is a weapon from Ragnarok Online. The Mes was a dagger-classified weapon that looked like a scalpel...? So maybe its a power that lets you cut out stuff without dealing with the tissues outside, but is still deadlyyy...? But no then I'm sure worse would happen to you if you had your heart cut out than just collapsing!? I don't know. Law's power is amazing tho. As a wannabe doctor I'm really impressed. XD |
Yeah. I was rereading the Marine battle arc the other day and I still get all emotional with the Ace and Whitebeard part. :gonk: And make me really want to strangle Blackbeard. |
Oh man. When I want to reread One Piece, I always turn to the Water 7 arc. That was, hands-down, the most emotional arc of the entire series. With the Going Merry and Ussop and Robin. :gonk:
>> I would love to be a doctor with Law's powers. I am so jelly! |
Ohh, yeah, that was definitely another one of the better parts of Emotional One Piece. Oda's so amazing in his ability to be able to have the manga so light-hearted in some parts and then all tear-jerking in others...; -; I was skimming through the channels yesterday and came across One Piece, where Robin and the others were just leaving after they stormed the Marines, and Robin cracked the masked guy's back. xD |
The Sky Piea arc was like the changing point for me. It was the end of that arc, with the story of the bell, that convinced me that Oda had a little bit of that "something" that makes a manga good for me. Then he followed it up with Water Seven. That definitely won me over. One Piece went from "a time filler" to a "good read."
Also. "ROBIN, SAY YOU WANT TO LIVE." That killed me. And when Ussop shot the flag. My respect for him. SKYROCKETED. >> We're not talking about my crappy grades. |
Oh definitely. It was the same for me, Oda's amazing. I keep wondering where he gets all those ideas from. |
Yeah. In the beginning, I didn't like Ussop either. He was really annoying with a few redeeming moments. That were then overshadowed by him being annoying again. But since around Skypiea, he's earned my respect. I really like how he fought for the Going Merry. I was really upset, too, when it told them how happy it had been with them. The Mini-Merry soothed my wounds a little. >>
Personally, I like that Oda doesn't forget about any of the older characters. We get a glimpse into their lives through the cover page thingies, or he brings them back later! |
Haha, yeah, I hadn't liked Ussop when he first appeared, with his lying and stuff (even if he had a reason for doing that), and then there were the parts where he ran away, etc...but eventually he's become much more dependable, especially after the two years of training. |
Yeah. He seems really cool now, with his plants and all. But I wonder. What happens when he runs out of seeds? Or does he like... Get more seeds from the plants he grows? xD;;
I love the Going Merry! There's actually a real life version of the Going Merry. If I had all the money in the world, I would buy it and. I don't know. Be really happy? >>; Lol! I liked what happened to King Wapol. He actually ended up pretty well off. With a corporation and a hottie wife. |
I'm guessing the latter. :XD Like, he'd use them somewhere, then gather the seeds from that to replenish his supplies...maybe whenever they bark on an island somewhere with fresh water. (or salt water. or sweet water. there's no telling with all those weird islands in the world of One Piece. http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/m...mileys/o_O.gif) |
