I love the idea of baseball anime, but I haven't had time to sit down and watch any. That's the problem, you have to dedicate a chunk of time to watch a whole series. Though, that's half the fun too, really, on a rainy day or something.

I actually play and follow tennis so I'd like to take a look at Prince of Tennis, too.

i've read a few manga about sports and stuff. one i read is Girl Got Game, which is a basketball manga. i forgot what the japanese title is, tho. i only read the first volume, but it's really funny. i've also read Crimson Hero, which is a volleyball manga. i honestly don't really like it, i found it too boring. so far, i haven't found any other sport manga that i'm interested in reading.

Oh goodness I'd have to say Prince of Tennis is my favorite, it's just amazing lol. Although it defies the laws of physics at times... Still. Pretty amazing :D

Another top fave would have to be Whistle, a soccer manga. It's got all its dramatic moments and all.

I like Kuroko's Basket.

I love sports manga! I've read Crimson Hero, Hana Kimi/ Hanazakari no Kimitachi e, a bit of Prince of Tennis, Sugar Princess, Girl Got Game, and am reading Whistle...

I've read two seperate baseball manga's. Watched one of them. Read and watched a basketball manga. And read and watched a tennis manga. I only like Tennis and Soccer as sports in a whole. Though Baseball is a close third to them.

well, I'm also a prince of tennis fan (though I didn't finish it yet)
but I got some sports mangas at my library cause they almost didn't have anything else and I already read them all.
SO I remember reading slam dunk for awhile, but couldn't take the art anymore XP
and there was one about football, but I forgot what it was called.

Not really into sport manga, however I do love Bamboo Blade.

Umm... I liked "Punch" and "Smash1". ^^; Those are both pretty good... but I'm generally not a sport series person.

Oh. Wait a sec. Sport series anime that I adored- Princess Nine. Seriously, it was awesome.

I seem to love all sports manga apparently. I love Eyeshield 21, it's a football manga. I also love Prince of Tennis. I heard of "Slam Dunk" (basketball) and "Whistle!" (soccer) but I haven't really got into them though.

I love Eyeshield 21. The characters are insane and there's so much humor. xD Besides college football, I don't really get into it. Eyeshield 21 is the exception. ;D

I remember reading Whistle in the past...and a basketball manga...from MIXX/Tokyopop. I was thinking about giving Whistle and Prince of Tennis another try.

I don't believe this is an anime, but the manga series Rebound was pretty good. It's about a basketball team, and I really enjoyed it. I'm really not into sports, but this was really interesting and kept me on the edge of my seat. I really recommend this.
