The start of high school life. To the girls, that also meant the start of their love lives. For brand new first year student, Takahashi Nanami (Nana for short), it was no different... She happens to end up in the same class as the incredibly popular Yano Motoharu, who rumors say that two thirds of all the girls are guaranteed to fall in love with. But will that hold true for Nana, who says that if she had to choose between like or dislike, she'd say she dislikes him!?

Hey! Sorry for the extra thread! This manga's another one of my favorites in the Shoujo section (I like mystery/ thriller/ psychology, too! :O) but I feel this manga deserves some attention as well. x] And it's also popular in Japan as well, so I'm pretty sure someone around here knows it, too.

This manga is pretty much a contrasting reflection of Kimi Ni Todoke (like I posted earlier) since it's rather... dramatic. For anyone who's read far, (volume 13 chapter 54) you'd know the tension going on right now and how everyone's waiting (not so) patiently for the next chapter. It was a cliffhanger afterall. :|

So, discuss:
What do you like about Bokura Ga Ita?
Has your first impression changed as you went through the manga?
What are your thoughts of the recent volumes? x]
What are you hoping for in the end? (There may be spoilers here and there...)

onemanga is a little behind in this series so i have only read up to chapter 12... i've seen the anime, which is only 26 episodes, but it just kind of ends with one leaving the other...
i can't say much, frankly, i think i should be reading it now rather then writing this haha

I've only seen the anime too... The ending is a bit depressing and I don't like how they just ended it there. I've skimmed the manga in bookstores but it doesn't seem to get any happier.

Some parts just frustrated me and it is super dramatic... But it's still good (^ .^)

based on what i've read, (they are still in high school), i think that the frustration is part of being in school still and being young and inexperienced... some of the things that make the characters so upset really aren't all that bad... granted, there are some things that are that bad... but i think the author did a good job in making the reader feel that too... cause aren't you supposed to feel what the characters feel? i think so
