Shoujo is the only kind of manga I can read :sweat:
I suppose it's just me, I need to have fight scenes animated or I can't follow it.
I read a couple of Naruto books, but they were early ones that I'd seen the anime version of, so I already knew what was happening in them.
I'm starting to read more shoujos so if you have any suggestions I would be happy to hear some.^^ As for shounen it is getting harder for me cuz some of them are too sporty or there are too many fight scenes that just don't make sense as you read it. The earlier Naruto was pretty easy to follow & it does help to watch it then read it or the other way around.
Fruits Basket and Vampire Knight are my favourite shoujos. But I suppose everyone has different tastes :)
I haven't read any of the later Naruto books, but I can imagine that that the fights scenes do get harder to follow.
Yeah, i doubt Hidan's going to come back since he's a "bad guy" with no character background, but it is possible.

I would LOVE to find out about Hidan's past. Not only would it be most likely hilarious, but it would be quite interesting as well :) I can see why he left his village though. I mean, the Hot Springs village?! Not the best place for a Jashin worshipper...
I can see him slaughtering his neighbors too, what would be awesome is if they would have like a whole episode or few of them for the Akatsuki to have their backrounds shown I mean the only one we really know about is Itachi, but I wanna know about the others.

I think the mouths on his hands are awesome, I personally wouldn't want them on mine, but I love them on Deidara. I've always wondered about the one on his chest...
Well he wouldn't have really gotten teased about the one on his chest because people don't normally see it, but I think that growing up with mouths on your hands wouldn't really be the best experience... maybe that's why he became a terrorist.
Thats a good theory. If I had met Deidara I would have made him my best friend as soon as I met him.(might be cuz i'm kinda a pyro & he blows things up)^^
Haha, yeah. He joined the Jashin cult after he left his village though. I kinda wonder if the killing of his neighbors was the initiation test for entering the cult...If I remember correctly one of the cult's dogmas was 'slaughter thy neighbors'. :P
I'd love to know Deidara's past too. My guess is that he got those mouths on his hands and chest from a forbidden jutsu, in order to be able to consume the clay and turn them into explosives to perfect his art.
I'd probably try to become Hidan and/or Deidara's friend if I ever met them. Their personalities are the closest to the type I like in the Akatsuki. (which explains why they're my favorite characters out of the organization :XD)

Not a bad ending in this week's chapter. Shame that the group's all officially dead now, but at least they're all finally together again, in death.
I wonder if Madara knows Kisame's dead? I like his new mask. It strongly reminds me of Iron Man. :rofl:

Deidara, Hidan and Sasori are my favourite Akatsuki... don't really know why. I guess I love Deidara and Hidan's slightly crazy personalities and Sasori, I think, is adorable.
@Roze: Lol thanks, I felt it needed to be changed to Deidara & Tobi since we seem to talk about them alot.( I wonder if I can find one with Dei, Tobi & Hidan...)
@Fading Existence: thats so interesting that you like their personalities, but what exactly about it do you like? I personally have/like Tobi/Madaras personality which is probably why I like Tobi & hate Madara.
I don't think even Hidan and Deidara appear in the same scene, except when they're sealing tailed beasts. Because Hidan is only seen in that arc, and he joined Akatsuki after Deidara so we don't see him in Deidara's brief flashback
@ Shiki: Hmm...it's hard to explain. It's more like a feeling? Their personalities just mesh well with mine when reading the manga. I like Tobi too, but he just doesn't give me that type of feeling when I'm looking at Hidan or Deidara.
I found pictures of Hidan with Tobi, or Hidan with Deidara, and tons of Deidara and Tobi, but nothing with the three of them all together. D:
