Funny Anime :D
 

School rumble is awesome if you're looking for something funny. It's just so random. And it's got romance, kinda. Trust me you should totally watch that one. OH! And no matter what anyone says, don't watch bobobo. it will melt your brain into pudding.

Some I recommend are the Slayers series if you really like silly/hilarious moments that's something for you.
Ranma 1/2 is another, if you don't mind some nudity every now and then. But it's only perverse comedy, (mostly to ranma)
It's just pure comedy, nothing real serious.
The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Lucky Star, and Ouran High school host club remind me a bit of azumanga daioh. So those may be good ones to watch.

i love Ouran High School Host Club its so funny and cute also Honey & Clover im not that far into it but what iv seen so far its pretty funny too

I love Azumanga Daioh! I read the manga but watched some of the anime.

K-On! is funny with some amazing music! It's a great series; I highly recommend it!

Axis Power Hetalia, although confusing at first, is almost pure humor and is amazing beyond words can explain.

Strawberry Marshmallow was very very very funny and simply adorable

Hetalia made me laugh, but my favorite funny anime is Bobobo-bobo-bobo. It is so ridiculously funny. XD! I mean, the plot of the show is so silly but yet it makes me laugh. :P I miss Bobobo-bobo-bobo though. :(

Hmm, do try looking into Excel Saga, it a parodies itself, other anime...you name it it does it. Very silly and highly entertaining.

Give Ninja Nonsense a try, it's so random and funny :D I love it!

I've seen Excel Saga xD It was pretty epic. (Hyatt is like Hinata on crack xD) Ninja Nonesense seems pervy when i checked it out on Google Images. I'll try Fairy Tail. It looks like it was from the same people that made Law of Ueki & One Peice.

i think Shin Chan is hilarious and Dokuro Chan. I seem to find those shows hilarious plus i love DBZ (:

There actually aren't many animes that make me burst out laughing for real. But I think the few that did are Ouran High School Host Club, Speacial A and Slam Dunk.

Ouran was funny because of the outrageousness! It blows your mind with all the randomness.

Special A is somewhat similar with the randomness.

Slam Dunk is an old school classic. I don't know how to explain that its funny but it definitely is! Its probably the relationship the characters have that make it as hilarious as it is.

Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt.
It definitely crosses the line between acceptable and downright vulgar, but if you can put up with its toilet humor and sexual innuendos, it's definitely one of the most hilarious things to come out of Ganiax in a while. :3

There are so many i love xD I have never seen azumanga dio (idk if thats spelt right) But here are some i thought where funny and i loved-

Kodocha (quite childish but deap too. Like- They are kids)
Gakuen alice (Well- I dident enjoy this one as much, The main character was whiney)
ouran high school host club (loved this one, Too cool.)
Wallflower (very similar to ouran high school host club, Very funny but a bit weird xD)
special a (I RECOMEND THIS like 10 times over, It is a fantastic anime :3)
Wa maid sama (i think thats it... Well- I loved this one so very much, its very nice and funny.)
School ruble (though this one was very good, I dident like many of the characters and some of the plot line, but it was nice :))

there are many, many more that i have watched, But i wont continue .__.

I love Lovely Complex. I think that's it's the most halarious anime ever. The really tall girl is in love with a really short guy and they're both exactly the same personality types and they're halarious.

I really love SGT Frog and Axis Powers Hetalia. Both are really cute yet REALLY funny at the same time. XD

Oremo ( It's sort of weird, yet, it's still funny )
Fairy Tail ( Even though it's mostly action, from time to time, there are really funny parts )
Special A ( This anime, I heart it )
Milky Holmes ( Sort of childish but it's okay )
And lastly, Yumeiro Patissiere ( Again, sort of childish )
