Yeah, the only real episodes you need to watch to know the story are episode 6, 12 and 13. Everything else is just an entertaining extra.

The OVA comes with the blu-ray DVD of the 1st season, I think.
Which is much awesomer. XD I hope to buy it along with the OST. I guess I'd have to order it from an import store? :/

I really like Panty and Stocking. Watching a series with this kind of humor was really enjoyable and the American cartoon-like art style is one of the best points of this series. I really like Briefs and I hoped he'd get what he wanted after the events of episode 12. About the ending.. okay, we all know that it was Gainax troll, but I hope this somehow gets resolved in next season or an OVA

When it comes to the soundtrack, I feel strange, because I find myslef enjoying it even though it's not my usual type of music. I'm currently hooked on the ending song, Fallen Angel

I personally loved the two songs "Fallen Angel" and "Chocolat" from the soundtrack.

I've seen the first 2 episodes so far lol.
I didnt like it at all first but I watched some more and read up on it and found I actally like it XD.
its pretty different from any other anime I've seen and it reminds me of the Powerpuff girls XD.
I think I'll keep watching it seeing if its better then I think it is. =)
I also like Stocking best, I love the gothicness and her love for sweets lol. =)

It is quite different, and it reminded me of the Power Puff Girls at first too! Which is probably why I got so much more into it because I love the Power Puff Girls. <3
The episodes do get better, and I think some of the further episodes are better than the beginning ones, but there's really no telling what to expect with them~ xD

"this is so weird but in a awesome way.. I think" XD so he likes it haha a weird anime but in a awesome way, thats priceless!!! 8D

I guess you could compare it to South Park or Family Guy, just kinda making fun of everything. :3

I just finished the series last night. The ending.... WHAT!?!?!? I'm not sure how I feel about the series continuing where episode 13 left it. Can they just continue it and pretend that episode didn't happen?

As much as I love Brief's original design I really like how he looked in... episode 12 was it? lol.

I was surprised by his new look, and was like "WOAH DUDE, MAJOR AWESOME CHANGE!" and I felt the same with Chuck when he turned into this HUGE AWESOME DEMON DOG! I liked both of Brief's designs too, and Chuck's superawesome one~ haha

I love it. xD So much! Kneesocks for sure is my favourite character. Going to try and convince my cosplay group to go as P&S w/ G characters, since this year we're doing Soul Eater (I'm going to be Medusa.)

I watched the first episode, and to be honest, I don't know how I felt about it. If it were American, I would have hated it. A lot. But it was Japanese, so I liked it... Very confusing. I've been meaning to watch more, but I've never gotten around to it...

And yeah, I preferred Panty over Stocking. Stocking is cute and everything, but I've always had a soft spot for characters like Panty.

Haha, I think I would've liked it no matter where it was made. But the cussing and raunchy-ness probably ouldn't be as funny if it wasn't in japanese.
It's nice now that all the episodes are out, so you wouldn't have to wait if you decide to watch it again. :3

Agreed, Panty's character just has so much spunk, and I feel like I see characters like Stocking around all the time, so she gets a bit old for me.

Panty and Stocking is one of those gag animes you have to be fully prepared for and have enough good sense of humor to enjoy.
I believe it has a nice balance, maybe just slightly a bit over-the-top for some, of its raunchy jokes that creates a somewhat lightheartedness.
What made me like the series the most was while it was meant to be a major comedy, it also had some sprinkled moments that just made you get more of a "feel" of the characters.
The characters are humorous, the music was great, and the switch between western-like and anime styles I found quite interesting.
I liked this series very much.

I was pretty curious about that anime. I've seen a lot of pictures of Panty and Stocking but I never really knew what that show was about. One side of me actually likes that show and wants to keep watching it while the other side of me just wants to throw a fit and say: WTF is this?! But the truth is, I actually liked it a little. It's not my type of anime but I do admit that it is funny. Rather stupid but funny. It's not a bad show. In fact, I'd rather watch this than South Park.
