Hello my fellow Code Geass fans. I have not been able to find a Code Geass forum so far so I decided that I would create one myself!
Personally I absolutely LOVE this anime! It is one of my all time favourites and for some reason it does not seem to be as popular as it could be.

Now, here's what I want to know from all of you Code Geass lovers out there!

Who is your favourite character and why exactly is that? (LELOUCH!!!!!!!!! I admit that I'm a sucker for a cute Bishounen :) :XD)
Who is your least favourite character and why? (Shirley...she gets on my nerves)
Why do you love Code Geass? (I love everything about it! The plot, the characters (appart from a couple) and the way it's drawn. I love the style!)
Do you prefer the anime or the manga? (for me personally I prefer the anime)
What is your favourite pairing? (be it yaoi, yuri or het I don't mind. I love them all!)

Please! Don't let me be the only one on mene that loves this amazing anime series! )

I've recently started watching this anime, I like the first opening theme song.

The story is interesting in that there's no real good or bad guys, its all a matter of who you side with. Although I suppose the main bad side would be the Ruler of Brittania..,Lelouch's father maybe.

The drawing style is definitely nice, I think CLAMP may have done it? dont' quote me on that.

My favourite characters from what I've seen so far are Lelouch and Suzuka, because although their views are different they both fight for what they believe in.

I don't like the President of the Student Council at the school because she's annoying and likes to tease people and I think she was just included for comedic relief. I also don't like that girl with black hair and glasses in the student council, because she seems to judge the Japanese people calling them Elevens and fearing them like they're all evil or something, in other words judgemental and racist.

As for couples....I'm not sure if there is a good couple but the closest I can think of is Lelouch and Kalen. HA.

I agree that the first opening is good. I love the music in Code Geass! Have you listened to any of the character songs sung by the voice acters? I think there's some really good ones there.

I agree with you there. It's more real that way I think cuz you get it from differnet perspectives and you find out reasons behind behaviour and things like that which all adds up to make it more interesting. That's one good thing definitely - character development. If there's one thing I can't stand it's underdeveloped characters!

It is CLAMP that does the drawings for the anime. They styled the characters and everything if I remember while the authors came up with the plot but not the actual character design...I think.

WOO!!!!! Lelouch and Suzaku!!!!!!!! C.C. (C2) and Kallen are awesome too but Suzaku and Lelouch are my all time favourites (even if Suzaku CAN be a bit of an idiot at times)

I like Milly (the president) but I do agree that she can get a little annoying sometimes. Nina...:hate: I really don't like her. She's EXTREMELY annoying but Euphemia's more annoying than her but yes, Nina IS a racist!

-grins- Yes! Another Lelouch/Kallen fan! The most popular parings that I can see are Lelouch/C.C. , Lelouch/Kallen, Lelouch/Shirley (HATE this pairing!!!) and Suzaku/Lelouch (which is quite cute actually) Those are the most popular involving Lelouch.

Do you watch it in english or Japanese? Which do you prefer? A lot of the english voice acters are TERRIBLE though!!!!! I mean, Anya's voice (from R2) in English is just...-makes choking sound- It just doesn't seem right!

how can yoU NOT love Lelouch????? He's just...:squee: :squee: :heart: :squee: :squee: He's just so cute cuz he's SUCH a kawaii bishounen but at the same time he's so smart but he's so physically unfit it's just so funny! There are so many different sides to his character and that's what I love about him.

I watched this back when it came on Adult Swim. It was really great to watch and I hated having to wait all week to find out what happened. I think this one got me more on edge than Death Note did.

Have you guys seen the extra manga books they have. They're supposed to be "for girls" or at least that's what it says on the cover. Now, that made me jump on it because I assumed it might have some yaoi in it, but it's actually just a collection of short comics by different authors. Typically they're just funny stories or they focus more on the romance. (I guess guys can't be into those things?)

As for the show, I think my favorite characters are Lelouch and Suzaku. They were the driving characters of the story and they really broke my heart throughout the series because they started out as such great friends. TT.TT

I don't really have any least favorite characters. Hm... though I suppose I always hated that "Code orange" guy because he was so hell bent on screwing up all of Lelouch's plans.

I love Code Geass because it's beautifully done and has a complex story that they can easily fit some humor into. It's sophisticated and yet charming all at the same time and I love that.

As far as pairing go, I actually liked Lelouch and Shirley. I really wanted them to be happy together. Same with Suzaku and the princess. I almost wanted to give up the show after they killed her like that. It was such a betrayal. TT.TT I'm also a fan of Ogi and... the chick with the silver hair and the dark skin. I'm so bad with names. >.<

I'm really upset because Japan has a game coming out for the PSP that'll probably never come out in the states. Code Geass: Lost Colors. It looks like it would be a lot of fun and it's almost a dating sim. lol. Plus you can get Lelouch in a wedding dress. Who wouldn't want that?

It would've been more interesting if the book had contained some yaoi. I mean, with the character designs and the intensity of Code Geass how can yoU NOT see some yaoi, especially betwene Lelouch and Suzaku! The one I think you mean is violette (And I probably messed up the spelling of her name VERY bad there!) and I agree completely that they DO make a great couple!
Lelouch and Shirley...-shudders- No, just no. I really don't like Shirley much. Although I think another pairings that's quite cute is Milly/Rivalz. They may be sort of side characters but they're funny and I love how Milly can get Lelouch to do pretty much ANYTHING! Ever seen the pic where she's wearing the boy Ashford uniform and Suzaku and Lelouch are wearing the girl uniform? LOVE IT! And I could actually see her convincing them to do it too...she's just that good!
How can yoU NOT be on the edge of your seat during Code Geass? There are so many twists and turns that it's just so intoxicating! It sucks you in until you realise that you're hooked! I was so annoyed at the ending of R1 when you just heard the shot go off and you didn't know what happened and then I was all "WTF?" when R2 began. That confused me until the end of the episode. It was really well done and that's one of the best things about Code Geass I think.

The anime is WAY better then the manga! I haven't ever read the manga cuz manga confuse me most of the time and i can't read it half the time cuz it's too small and I'm half blind but I still LOVE the style! Lelouch just looks so cute! I've tried drawing him and I can get him when I draw him in his Ashford Academy uniform but if I try to draw the zero cape it all goes to hell in a handbasket! I mean, I just c an't seem to get it! I know that practice makes perfect and I'm gunna keep trying to get it but it's still really hard!
I LOVE reading Suzaku/Lelouch fanfiction! I just think it's so sweet and there are so many different possibilities. For example there's a fic I'm reading on ff'n right now. The pairing hasn't started yet but it's set during R2 and Lelouch gets sick. Basically during the fic when Lelouch is sick his geass reverses so he gets a taste of his own medicine as he has to obey any order given to him and there's no limit to how many times a person can order him around. I'm quite looking forward to when Suzaku finds out about this...-smirks evily- It should be quite interesting! *and HILARIOUS! I mean, could you imagine Milly if she could boss Lelouch around more than usual?)

I've seen most of "R1" and at least half of "R2." I would like to see the rest of it, but, I haven't gotten around to it yet. It's a good anime. Not the best, but enjoyable to watch when you have some free time.

I've recently marathoned both seasons after telling myself for almost four years (is that the time that has passed since the first season started airing? I think that's around four years or something... Well, you get the idea) and finally got around to it after deciding to watch all my boyfriend's favorites on Myanimelist.

I really liked the story, setting and art (even though I've heard numerous spoilers and had the whole series explained by a friend during these years I was meaning to watch Code Geass...) but when it comes to characters... My favorites are Lelouch and C.C, I'm fond of a few other characters as well, but Geass has lots of characters that I found simply annoying and I don't mean just Nina

-winces- Nina was annoying but so was Euphemia and Shirley (apologies to any Euphemia and Shirley fans) but I honestly hate them! Well Euphemia's just annoying but Shirley...:hate: :hate: :hate:

After hearing some spoilers (on accident) it took me AGES to finally watch the last bit of R2 because I didn't wanna see it! And when I DID finally se it I'll admit I cried. I couldn't help it! There's also this music vid that I love watchiong and at the end just as the music ends you just see Suzaku and Lelouch during the last episode...it was so sad!!!!!! :cry: :cry: :cry:

Lelouch is my favorite character, because he wanted what was best for his sister. Even if it meant his life or giving it his all. :shock: (I don't think he is dead though.)

Hm... I dislike Charles and his sons (but not Lelouch though).

I love it because it to so unique. What makes it unique is the plot and storyline. :D!

I hadn't read the manga yet, but I really want to though. I really like the anime a lot though. :D!

Yay, another Lelouch x C.C fan! I was close to believing that everyone wants him either with Suzaku (who I really dislike) or Kallen (who I really dislike as well)

I find it hard to believe that Lelouch would actually be the cart driver, but right, I wouldn't put it past him to come up with a cunning plan that would allow him that. I'm not sure how I'd react if it was the case though.

My friend Roze on Menewsha also loves Lelouch/C.C. It's her favourite pairing. She usually pairs Kallen with Gino I think and she hates Suzaku and Euphemia so I think she pairs them together to get them outta the way...poor Suzaku. I know that he's annoying a lot of the time but I love how he and Lelouch interact (when Suzaku's not being all annoying)
I am keeping my hopes up! I mean, I've heard that there's gunna be an R3 so I guess we'll just need to wait and see...the ending was left open so there's quite a few possibilities and that's one of the reasons I love it. Plus it's GREAT for fanfiction writers like myself!

Isn't R3 just a rumor? At least I hope so, it would seem kind of pointless, the ending R2 had was satisfactory and resolved most of the plot. I can't imagine how they would make a R3 after all of this unless it's a prequel

I don't know - It's just a rumor I've been hearing around the net although I can't find anyone that'll say where exactly they've heard about it which is kinda annoying. I guess we'll just need to wait and see.

Yeah, I kept believing Lelouch is alive, but I guess he is truly gone. My friend is right that he is gone. I finally watched a video that proved his point, but I still leave that little bit a hope that Lelouch is still alive somewhere. :S

There's a lot of possibilities I think and that's why the ending of R2 is so good cuz it's open to interpritation and that makes things a LOT more interesting for fanfiction writers like me. We get to play around, come up with new possibilities, and still hope that Lelouch is alive!!!

Okay, switching topic. Which Knightmare is the most awesome in the whole series?

I hate yaoi fangirls who want to make all these gay pairings in anime that make no sense, but just because they are "pretty".

Some couples are good, others are bad. It all depends on the characters really I think.

I've seeen this anime a total of 3 times be it R1 or R2...but only red the manga once...anyway i love it...i've even rped it a few times

Basicly all of it. I love the charecter designs (though my friends find them wierd), th eplot just draws you in, and who can resist hot guys fighting each other because they don't just talk it out and not misunderstand on another.

either way i'm good, i like the anime bacause i don't have to animate it in my head, but i like the manga because it has more stuff.

Seems to me that Lelouch is the most popular character in all our minds.
(I just got an image in my head of Lelouch being chased by a hoard of Rabid Fangirls :XD)

Lelouch is one of my favorite characters, but in reality, I'd never want to get close to a guy like him, even minus the Geass power. Too dangerous, I say.
