Was watching Hetalia to bring in the new year with laughter
Anyways again i notice that a few country have well weird eyes.
Like japan is the biggest one that simply drives me insane.
There souless. like it brown then shaded to black with no light or defined pupil.
and the small girl living with Switzerland with a name that is too hard to pronounce/spell. (japan first link. france in other to show the difernce in eyes)

So in hetaila the charter desing do u think there a hideing meaning?

its really interesting the variations in art styles. A lot of Animes style the eyes like that, without a defined pupil, so I dont think there is a hidden meaning. I think it is mainly done when the artist wants a character to look young or cute or innocent, as thats the type of character i have noticed the most with eyes like that.
Im not sure why exactly it is done, it has bugged me a little too, but i reckon its just a simplistic cutesy type of style to use for some characters.
As japan is meant to be more pure :P and Liechtenstein is so CUTE!!!
