Shade The Changing Man

Because he should have a thread too.

I'm more fond of the Peter Milligan ones from the late 80s but the old Steve Ditko ones were amusing also.

I have a fan page for Shade over on facebook if anyone else likes this comic. here?(setting URLs for FB is annoying.

I like the '80-'s version myself -- but then again, I loved DC in the 80's -- cheesy event books and all...

DC's Vertigo branch made a LOT of cool comics back then.

I mean, Shade aside this was also the time of Gaiman's Sandman, which is the most well known, but there were also some cool one offs, like Mercy, and this three parter I liked called Mythos:the Final Tour.

That was the heyday for Hellblazer, Preacher and Doom Patrol too.

Vertigo has had some fantastic comics; I haven't read any Vertigo titles since they axed the Exterminators, which was a pretty good title.

Shade had some amazing cover work -- second to none in a lot of regards. Real works of surrealist art...
