Fruits Baskets wins by far! Naruto's getting a bit boring now, I mean really...almost all of the Akatsuki are dead! ;A;

Naruto for me. I like shonen better than shojo. Fruits Baskets went from vaguely amusing to downright depressing, I lost interest in it halfway, yet I'm still reading Naruto despite the Akatsuki are nearly all dead and gone. I also like Naruto's art style more. |
Oh geezus, these two series shouldn't even be compared. They are completely different from each other from its audience range and its genre. Myself would of course pick Fruits Basket, seeing I'm not a fan of Naruto, but really now...

Such a decision. Naruto has its share of hotties, but as does Fruits Basket. I do prefer shounens over shoujos usually, but I think I would rather read a Fruits Basket book over Naruto (sorry Hidan >_<). Naruto's story line has gotten so boring for me. SPOILER ALERT <3. And the loss of the sexshi Akatsuki has had a toll. Especially the death of ero-senin (Jaraiya!). *Tear*.

I like naruto better mostly cause I like the action rather than the romance (I like romance too don't get me wrong.)

Oh gosh. Naruto did get boring, like others have said, but Fruits Basket sort of got boring for me too. I guess I'd have to pick Fruits Basket though, because it's cute and has romance and. <3

Fruits Basket by far. I think Naruto lost it's appeal a while ago. Once it becomes tedious to watch an anime or read a manga because of the large amount of episodes or books, the entire thing loses it's magic. Sorry, that's just a noobs opinion. XD |

Wow, I've never seen these two put together in a "vs" thread before. Usually with Naruto, One Piece is the one that is put against it in a "vs" thread. For the whole "Ninjas or Pirates" argument.
Between these two though, I'd have to go with Fruits Basket. I don't really like Naruto all that much. Fruits Basket is an interesting story though and I like it. |

oh..hard to choose...i like FB, but i also really like Naruto....but when it comes to the guys,...Kyo-kun vs Gaara-kun....Gaara wins which makes naruto win soo....

@Blossom:D : I think my favourite section of FB would be books 12-19. And the last book. But Naruto looks like its heading towards a bit of an off ending :sweat:. It may have dragged on too long. @ Pockyanimecat : The hawt guys always win it for the animes ^_^. |
I'd never consider comparing the two if I were just thinking about it as they are soo very different.
Fruits Basket I like because it was one of the first anime I really got into and the manga although the drawing style gradually changed from it's beginning to the end, was good enough to keep my attention and I like most of the characters and how they develop throughout the story. I didn't like how it seemed to depict incest, even if it's distant relative relationships. Naruto is also one of the first anime I got into since being aware of anime and manga. Although the story is very long I think the drawing style is more consistent in the manga. At times it can depict some gross stuff, but that's all part of the story I suppose. I sometimes think there are too many characters in the story, and being a shounen, the focus seems to be largely on the males. It's a tough choice to make in my opinion, and despite usually being more of a shoujo story fan, in this case I'd probably go for Naruto. |

The two shows are far too different to even compare!
I love them both for very different reasons, it'd be impossible to put one over the other. Fruits Basket is adorable though, I love Momiji best. Naruto is awesome though, in a more epic sort of way, even if it is beginning to drag on. Gaara and Shikamaru. <3 |
I liked Fruits Basket until the end, which seemed a little forced. I was more into Naruto back in high school but now there's just way too many episodes.
