I don't have money to buy cosplays either, which is why I'm sewing mine. :sweat: Sometimes, making it is better than buying it, because then you can make sure stuff fits, and know that the fabric's good, etc. :yes:

Haha, I have a job, but I haven't gotten my paycheck yet. Once I get it, I'm buying myself a 3DS for some upcoming games I really want to play. ;w;

Well, my family's not too approving of cosplay or anime either, but my mom was afraid that if I was distracted with making a costume, I wouldn't focus on my studies, so she volunteered to make it in my place so I would do more schoolwork. This is actually a relief, since I can't use a sewing machine for the life of me... :sweat:

I got a sewing machine from my aunt but it's pretty old too so idont I think I might invest in a new one and get classes

Oh, well my mom's sewing machine is quite old too. It's a Singer. :o

Comic store? Really? LUCKY! The only comic store we have where I am is run by an old man. Mum doesn't trust him very much lol. I have to work at a fast food restaurant.

Haha, well it's thanks to my cousin who also works there. I asked her to recommend me if a position ever opened up, and I got it! We sell comics and Yu-Gi-Oh/Magic cards there, and our boss is actually quite young. All of us are pretty young... I think the oldest person of the staff is 24? So yup, youthful atmosphere... :sweat:

Then learn outside of school? Or learn from friends that might know how? :o

Well, our's doesn't have a choice to fit only manga in, so it's got a tonne of American comics as well, but More manga >_< and anime >_<.

Yeah, Ao no Exorcist has some really nice background music I took for granted. :yes:

And yeah, America = American comics. W have some old comics worth almost $1000 each! It's crazy how much collectors are willing to pay! Though we also get a large amount of revenue from trading cards. There's only a few shonen manga series, and some Shonen Jump, but only the issues with a free Yu-Gi-Oh card inside. :sweat:
