I got my cosplay today XD. I was parading around the house wearing it, and I even learnt how to tie a tie for it XD. I bet your's will look better though... Home made is always cooler.

Well, when we got it I had to go straight to work so, it was the only opportunity TT3TT.
:sweat: Well, because we're no-way near a con, the Anime Club at our schools figure we should have an anime day :P. So all the people who bought cosplays are gonna make a vid and stuff like that. But if I manage to somehow get to a con, I bet I'll be wearing it XD. I fit still fits :sweat:.

Ah that's Cool... I wished my anime club did anything exciting.... At least when I was still in it...

Yepp! I have the wig and everything! The only thing left to make would be my boot covers, which shouldn't be too difficult. Though I've been getting a lot more lazy about making it since I'm so close to done... :sweat:

One of my friends is cosplaying as Greece, and my other two friends who bought cosplays are cosplaying as Vocaloids. XD.
If we were to split our friends into Vocaloids, I'd be Len. In fact I'm referred to as Len a lot >:P.

I went to the Comicon today. I saw a box set of Ao no Exorcist dubbed that came with free posters. I was so tempted, but in the end I was quite poor and decided against buying it. :sweat:

I've seen Shura cosplayers and Shura wigs. Although her outfit is common enough, it takes a lot of attention to detail in order for the cosplay to work. But YES, her hair is pretty awesome. :yes:

I don't think I'd cosplay as Shura, even with herr magical hair ^_^;. While it's an easy cosplay it's so..... revealing....


I have to start saving up for my jap trip now, Err. I have 2 same up $2000 dollars TT3TT. It may be more or less depending on my grades though :\. I hope the jap trip is around the time in which the Vocaloids hold a concert XD.

well apparently they are giving free tickets to japan only if you blog/write about everything you do in a social networking site but you have to pay for about every thing lol they give a plane ticket to go and come back... at least thats what i heard....

Oh yeah, I heard of that. Apparently tourism to Japan went down a lot because of the earthquake. In order to spread a more optimistic light on visiting again, Japan is offering an expense-paid trip so long as you blog about it. I think they're looking for very popular blogs that will reach others and make them go "Oh, I want to visit now!"

I saw a Yoko from Gurren Lagan today at Comicon. But I think Shura has more body. :x

They are fun, but I didn't like how I had to constantly watch my Miku wig in fear of getting snared on something. :cry:

From a buying perspective, it's better to not have a cosplay. At least I think so.

Hehe, I'm supporting AnE.... I'm keeping up with the books XD. Just waiting on 4 to hit our poor lonely manga store's shelves :).

T3T. For my personal project this year, I'm not quite sure what to do, I want to do something that involves a storyline, but I don't seem to be good at any of them TT3TT. I'm just okay at them :<.
Some things suggested to me have been:
-Drawing (I'm not good with action poses and angle views :sweat:)
-Making a film (I need something that's capable of being more dramatic >:\)
-Writing a book (I'm not good with words...)
-Writing a poem. (...I'm good at those, but I'll spend for ever trying to find words that rhyme XD)
I was thinking that I wanted to draw a clip to a song, but than I'd need better drawing skeels XD.

I meant like... it costs a lot less to get materials to make a cosplay than to buy a cosplay. For my Miku cosplay, I spent $8 on the shirt, $12 on the pants, $3 on the socks, and $20 on cloth (totaling under $50), while buying a cosplay costume would be anywhere between $80~$150. But I guess it really depends on whether you can actually find pieces of the costumes in regular clothing stores. :sweat:

Hehe, I've done it before, it's on youtube, but it sucks really badly DX. But at school they have better programs and such, so it'll look waaay better. :D. Cas well, I didn't have a scanner to use, and the photos look dodgy... But it was fun :).
