Crepuscule.
I'm personally a huge fan of manhwa--well, GOOD manhwa--and Crepuscule is one of them. It's right up there with Noblesse on my hierarchy of pleasing story-art duos. I am absolutely terrible at plot synopsis, so all I can suggest for those of you who've never read it is...well, to look it up and devote yourself to it. It's still in-progress and another 150+ chapters are scheduled to come out. As a writer, though, I understand how fancy can run away with a person, so we'll probably see more even than those. For those of you who HAVE read it/know of it, please discuss it with me. Who is your favorite character so far? What are your predictions for the plot? Any pairings you'd like to geek over? Well... Hmm.... I'm terrible at summarizing things. It's basically the story of a human boy, Lark, who is ostracized in his own world. He meets a vampire child named Setz who takes him over to the other side and into Setz's realm. Setz and Lark end up separated because of Setz's position as nobility, so Lark goes to live with a woman named Angela. Ten years pass and Lark ends up being sent to a private school to hunt down an ingredient for Angela, where he becomes friends with different types of vampires, including one who also happens to be a relatively immortal 'zombie'. As it turns out, Setz also attends this school. The drama unfolds from there. It's much better than I'm able to communicate. Here's a link. |
