Or reading, if it isn't finished. For me, other then FAKE, it's Innocent Bird. It's the perfect blend of everything, and it's Yaoi, which makes it more awesome.

I will always love Mars. That's one of my tops for sure. It's short and has a lot happening in only 15 volumes but I like the art and the story. It's very rereadable too. Another one I love is Sailor Moon.

I have far too many to count methinks. xD There are certain ones I always go back to like Detective Conan and Naruto. There are ones that I utterly worship and adore like Magic Knight Rayearth (arguably my first manga) and well CLAMP in general of course.

As of right now though, I'm in love and raving over Cage of Eden and Katana. They're both fairly different stories that I normally don't see.

Cage of Eden is about a plane that crashes onto an island that doesn't exist on any maps. In that plane is a bunch of Japanese school kids (who are for the most part the main characters of the storyline). The problem is that on this island there are these extinct creatures who haven't been seen for billions of years and who seen the newly crashed survivors as prey. It's a little gory in the beginning (people dying left and right) but slowly it evolves into solving the mystery of the island (how do these animals exist, what was this island was created for, etc). It's a tad predictable in some of the reveals (mostly because some of the reveals lasts several chapters and you can already see where they're going with the train of thought). It's really good. 8D Think like Jurassic Park meet manga.

Katana on the other hand I picked up yesterday and well for some reason I feel attached to it. xD Simply story about a guy whose family are swordsmiths in present day. He doesn't know if he wants to take over the business but he's really good at sharpening. The catch? he can see the spirits of the swords and talk to them. It's a different approach, there's action but not the shonen naruto/bleach style of fighting. :3 Not to mention you learn about the katana in general. It's awesome. xD

Yes! So right now, on the top of the list, those are my two favorite mangas. xD There are others but until I get sick of waiting for releases that's probably stay like that for the next couple months.

I know! Even though it was short, it really impacted me at such a young age really. The best part of about it is because Clamp never really creates an "evil villain" it was nice way for me to ponder that the world is not so black and white but shades of grey.

I heard of Magic Knight Rayearth, I can't remember much about it though, and Katana sounds very interesting. I'll go check it out xD

Hana-Kimi For you in Full Blossom aka Hanazakari no Kimitachi e by Hisaya Nakajo. Is one of my favourite all time mangas.

It's a sweet romantic comedy shojo. I always wondered why there was never an anime made of it.

I loved FAKE though I didn't like the second series they released. Disliked the new art style.
I loved Complex by I think was Manda Ringo (there are two Complex out there). This one is a kind of yaoi story about two boys growing up, one of which gets sexually abused by his teacher and they face life and growing apart and together. It's really realistic and addresses issues such as homosexuality in the community and even has youths facing the social issues of growing up with gay parents and how gay parents =/= gay kids and so on.
I cried so damn much.

Arisa! Gorgeous shoujo art and a gripping story. It's about twins, Tsubasa and Arisa. After Arisa attempts to kill herself, Tsubasa decides to go undercover and discover why Arisa tried to kill herself. So Tsubasa pretends to be Arisa and goes to her school and finds out about this weird thing called "King Time."

It's ongoing right now, and I'm reading it as it's released in North America, I think I'm up to volume 7.

One Piece. It's the only one that I have never lost interest in. Plus the art style is amazing (not stiff and dull), the plot is amazing, and the humor is just as great.

Hetalia. Especially the dub! It is funny, cute and hinted Yaoi!♥

Although the fanbase is a bit scary, but it is amazing, and it will keep going and going until the world ends! :)

Confused? It is history. It is awesome and adorable in every way. Who knew just making characters who were countries could make such an amazing and touching anime?

I also agree with Bronia, Arisa is awesome. But Hetalia is better!

OH! And Kamisama Hajimemashita... Quite a mouthful to say, right? Haha.

I can't really summarize it... Jut read it, it is not Yaoi, but cute, and Tomoe is HOT!!!♥

I rarely read manga, but of the handful I have read I think it'd be a tie between three.

First, is FLCL. I like the manga more then the show, it's got more story and is a tiny bit longer. Second is Demon Diaries, cause it's loaded with adorable boys. And third would have to be Dogs, cause hot guys, long hair, guns and stuff, is really awesome~.

But yeah, that's the three I would consider favorite. Anything else is like.. appreciated? xD;;

This would be hard for me to say.... I usually read comedy manga, like Cromartie High School, Sexy Commando Gaiden, Saint Young Men, etc.

But I do like more serious stories too.. Urasawa Naoki stories are really awesome... until the end. I've read Monster, Pluto, and was reading Billy Bat, but I'm afraid it'll also have an unspectacular ending.. :\

I dislike romance (especially if it's full of drama), but I have a soft spot for Glass Mask.

Actually, for the most part, I think I follow authors/artists rather than like specific stories.

There are a lot of random stories that I'm reading now because I see it on mangareader, but I don't know yet if they're good enough to be called "the best" since they're not done yet.

Uh, I guess, in the end... I don't really have a favorite. I failed, hah..

It's tough to decide between Fullmetal Alchemist and Dr. Slump. They're both so fantastic where storytelling is concerned! Dr. Slump can be a bit more experimental when it comes to panel layouts and angles; Toriyama likes to have pure fun with it. Okay, rushing to meet deadlines is no fun, but all comic artists have to deal with that. As for FMA, the plot is cohesive with snappy designs to boot. And the action... the foreshortening... delicious delicious art!

I really can't compare them to each other. They're both number one in their own regards.
