Wild Tiger is a character from Tiger and Bunny. It's an awesome super hero anime, and pretty much my obsession at the moment. (and I don't even like super heroes all that much.) He's my planned costume this year. I'm doing the everyday clothes, so, the pic of him on the left. |

I'm still working on my Angewomon cosplay. I messed the body suit up so I have to remake that and the wings are taking forever. So far aside from the bodysuit, it looks good though.
I also been meaning to start a Sailor Star Healer cosplay but haven't started that one yet. |
I have a completed version of Mio-Chan in her Don't Say Lazy outfit (K-On!) but it's gonna be incomplete once I chop off all my hair.
I'm in the midst of making a school uniform version of Yui, I have the blazer and some black tights and maybe a dress shirt (I forget if it's still got all the buttons) and am in the midst of sewing a skirt and getting hairpins. And a hair cut. If my Yui cosplay is finished by the time Otafest rolls around (May) I'm wearing that, but if not I'll go as a short-haired Mio. No pictures for you guys. :P |

Hm... on the ride home from work my sister and I decided that we should do a Rin and Yukio cosplay from Blue Exorcist since we're twins. Has anyone here ever worn false fangs before? I'm curious how those work.

xhogyokux: Tell me about it. XD Angewomon isn't too bad except the wings. I caught the bodysuit on my machine and it caused a run all the way up the inside of one leg when I was trying to do the zipper. Can't really fix it but I'm hoping that I can restart on the catsuit this weekend and then work on editing it some time before November.
For the Starfighter outfit, it's not too hard except for finding a wig that looks right. That's really why I haven't started on it yet. |

I can't buy stuff online because I have no bank account or credit cards. :( I've been looking at a few wig stores around here. I think that I may just let my hair grow out and get a ponytail extension of the Starhealer outfit. At least, I think that would be easiest.
Angewomon still needs a wig too but there's one I've been eying at a wig store here so I think I may settle for that one. |

I just LOVE to cosplay.
March 22-25 I will be attending Tekkoshocon X in Pittsburgh PA where I will be doing mostly Bleach cosplay. Thursday I will be Rukia Kuchiki, Friday I will be Rose Otoribashi, and Saturday I will be cosplaying Nanao Ise. Sunday I'm cosplaying with a group of friends and we're doing My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic in which I'm cosplaying a humanish Twilight Sparkle <3 I am happy to say as well that I have even won awards for my cosplays. Setsucon 2011 I won first place novice, then Setsucon 2012 I won 3rd place Journymen (moved up a category) and then during Tekkoshocon IX husband and I won Best of Friday. Sadly this Tekkoshocon I'm not competing. Not only did I run out of funds to make big, fancy cosplays, but my growing belly is making is own difficulties (but love being pregnant!) |
