I'm usually a big fan of the anime, but the new Yu-Gi-Oh Zexal is rather stupid in my opinion.

What do you think my fellow fans? lol

I stopped watching/reading the series after the original. All the rest that came after...just wasn't quite as good as the first, IMO, so I have no idea what Zexal's about. :XD

The original's pretty cool though, just all the friendship and stuff sometimes annoyed me.

I've got friends who've watched all of Yu-Gi-Oh when they were a few years old, but I've just started watching it a few days ago. I friend of mine is kind of surprised I've even bothered watching it, especially since the original is quite old. I told him that it just annoyed me when he showed me an abridged series based on Yu-Gi-Oh and I had no idea what was going on. Still, it was pretty funny.
So far, I've only watched the first episode, but I think I'll find time to watch the rest soon.

I consider myself a fan of the first season. Watched it every day before elementary school, saw the movie, had all the super epic cards. Original is the only thing I really watched.. though sometimes I didn't cause the whole 'power of friendship' thing got a bit sickening. After the first season I think it just started to get.. not as good. Seems to happen with some shows, once the main season is over it just kinda gets worse from there. Unless you are lucky and end up getting a good season in between not so great ones.

I haven't seen the newest Yu-Gi-Oh though, I stopped after seeing a few G.X episodes (I think).

Ha, I used to be back when it first started, but sometime after the start of the second season, it got to the point that I was really only watching it to annoy my sister.
Nothing like waking someone up with "EGYPTIAN GOD CARD!!!!"


I think I stopped watching it during the third season ...?, right before they started dueling on motorcycles.

I have watch the first 3 seasons and I only like the original 1 season. I loved the first one first one first one. I have tried to watch all of the others like GX? I think that is what it is called and also 5D's, Zexal, etc.... they suck

I loved the first fews seasons but once yugi was gone there really wasn't a yugi-oh IMO

I agree the first seasons were not so bad nor the cards but it just got to outragous with the plots and the cards like syncro an such.
