And that just brought the mood way down.
Rightfully, though, I have to say. Animal fighting is terrible. D;

How I feel when I read that stuff:

Though to be honest I would probably not fight with mine... it'd be my buddy.

I hope it was ok to mention that, sorry if I upset anyone with that thought of mine.

Some of the pokemon are cute, I must admit, and given their abilities of fire, electricity and water etc, they would be very useful in an industrial life as a power source. Of course treating them with respect. Much like horses and cows can useful for transport and manual labour respectfully

Although, there is the possibility of training them for pest control.
Say there's a bunch of zubats or rattatas... makes caves and grass dangerous for people who don't own protection.

But I think that the pikachus in the show were actually used as "back-up generators"

I think a pokemon world would be more dangerous than our current world. Interesting, but dangerous.

Probably. This one has the potential to be pretty homicidal and awful though.

True... but at least people would have the right to own a pokemon which they could then use to protect themselves... unlike not being allowed to own a gun...

When i said that I prefer to live in a Pokemon world, I truly meant that. I'm not saying that I want pokemon in OUR real world, but in THEIR world. They've got no wars, Pokemon battles may be considered cruel in this reality, not in theirs. In pokemon world, Pokemon love to battle for their owners, and stuffing Pokemon into pokeballs isn't considered as a cruel act. I love it that people cooperate with pokemon and they work together and play together and battle together (:Instead of leaning about History or math they study about [email protected]! Ash didn't even have to learn! He left the house and went to a journey at the age of 10! If the Pokemon world was so dangerous do you think that his mother will let him go to a jounry all by himself? They even sleep outside! So peaceful. ):

The only "bad guys" are Team Rocket and Team Magma or what are they called. And they always lose. lol.

Hehe...that is a nice way of looking at it, being part of the Pokemon world, rather than it coming to life in our reality...

Sorry to break it to you Mogwai... but they learn history... if you talk to the kids in the schools they can teach you about the history sometimes. Additionally, while no "math" you have to learn all about the types and how strong they are etc... which probably involves math.

Also when his mom let him go on his journey... the people murdering pokemon weren't around yet...

It's history of pokemon, and anything that is related to pokemon is interesting so I don't care! Even archeology is related to pokemon - everything is related to pokemon (: And what people murder pokemon? What pokemon did ever die ? And Ash still goes to journeys, his mother never told him to come back home because it's "dangerous" outside.

I dont think they even need money out there. You receive money through batteling lol xD since when did Ash ever worry about money? Working is not a necessity, it's an option. You can still live happily without working. Just like Ash's mother. She doesn't work. She's a stay at home mother. :P

Wasn't there mention of extinct pokemon in the anime? That would have to be part of prehistoric times in the Pokemon world.

It's not just the show... the game allows you to explore that world without being confined by the straight arrow of the anime.
And yes there are prehistoric pokemon. Kabuto was one I knew of.

Plus the whole adventure started on the first episode with a legend being seen, which is has a legend attached to it even recently:
Quote:
White 2
Its feathers are in seven colors. It is said that anyone seeing it is promised eternal happiness.
Considering the anime Ash sees it that is a legend (piece of history) that was true... :)
So that would mean that through knowing the pokemon themselves you'd be learning history.

As for the scarier of the pokemon:

This should sum it all up for me...
