Pretty cure?
Who likes it?
I am a big Magical girl fan. |
I watched the first two seasons...
Can't say I am too impress with it. I like the music though, the OP and ED is my type. |
I've not yet seen it, though I do usually enjoy Magical Girl series, so it's on my "to watch" list. What do you like so much about it, Gokol? As in, what sets it apart, for you?
|
Nothing really. I got a wide range of interests.
Frankly I am only on my second attempt to watch the first one so I've barely watched any compared to what I researched. |
I wanted to download the 3rd season, few years ago, but there was no source for me, so I kinda put it back and forget all about it. XD
I read about the wiki though... If I am not mistaken, the 3rd season changed characters... instead of 2, now into the basic 5. I kinda like the duo idea though. |
Basically my idea is cross over of series + unique ones too.
|
... I don't really get what you mean by that...?
|
It means all seasons and movies + are own unique characters and stuff.
|
I don't like characters difference.
It just doesn't feel the same to me. They can add more, but not completely change into another story or setting. They might as well change the title. -__-;; feels like a completely different story. |
I can't get your opinion.
|
I don't like that each seasons have different characters.
|
I meant I can't get your way of thinking. Meaning I don't agree or even see how you could.
|
Oh lol! English! XD
I use that 'cant get' as in 'cant understand'. XD It is fine~ I don't mind. |
I really appreciate series that can evoke your emotions and make you feel like you care about the people presented in it. The various Pretty Cure series have always done a very good job of that. There's been a few episodes here and there where I've come out trying to suppress myself from crying at the end of it. They also do a good job (at least in Futari wa and Splash Star, not as much in YPC5) of making it feel like it would be realistic if you took out the magical girls and the bad guys. Everyone in their school has a name. Over the course of the series, we get to meet all of them, and find out a lot about each of them. They have issues you would expect people to really have in real life. It very often felt like the real story wasn't about the magical girls fighting the monsters, but about their relationships with each other and with their friends at school. And then they took what they learned from their experiences and turned around and used it to fight the bad guys. It's quite the interesting way to present a magical girl show, and it's made it one of my all-time favorite anime franchises.
