This probably my favorite web comic even though it ended several years ago. Does anybody else remember it? Doesn't it remind you of the video games you use to play?

I haven't heard of this before, but that first page is really funny. [lol] I was raised on the old school RPGs, so I'm definitely going to have to give this a read to see all the tropes poked at!

Fighter is definitely my favorite cause he is so dumb and he has no plan of attack xD that's how i used to play video games xD

But there is theif, white mage, black mage, fighter, and more as you get deeper into the series XD It ended 2 years ago but it ran on and off for 9 years.

I've never heard of this.

Black mage ftw

I don't think the black mage is very nice at all.

No he's not... but the fact that he's so evil and so bad at it is hilarious XD
His attempts at killing fighter are the funniest

He is evil with a good soul... the white mage is good, but evil...

And the princess... just plain evil [lol]

I simply leave white mage as "Excessively violent"

The white mage reminds me of my best friend in high school, innocent but violent xD

Haha yeah pretty much... except I wouldn't consider her violence level permissive of the title "innocent"

But doesn't the white mean that she is pure?

Not really... only really means that she is good at cleansing and healing... XD

But you never think of some who does healing as being so devious.

Quite often I've seen "healers" as quite a lot more dangerous than many other classes quite often.

Really why? they have no fighting ability.

There is a combat priest. It's called a cleric in which they are built for healing others but they smash people with a giant mace.

Do you think that is the basis of the white Mage?

That's probably the source, given I don't see people casting white magic anywhere irl.

I think clerics were that "Divine warrior" type image because they resemble a clergyman in a lot of ways.
