o_o; Well, I just started watching Pet Shop Of Horrors a little while ago. Got through the first two episodes and think it's pretty interesting so far.

x3 I'd watch more, but I gotta head off soon.

Anyways...for those who have seen it, what do you think about it?

e.e I love Count D and the lil bat-mouse like thing thats always around. ='D It's absolutely adorable!

I think it was an awesome story... until about the last volume when things started to get confusing (has only read the manga). I love the idea that Count D put animals above humans. *nods*

Overall I think it's funny and it might just be my twisted mind to see some shonen ai hints in there. But yeah. xD

How's the anime?

*nods* The manga is ten volumes long. Volume ten was sorta confusing.

Pet shop was a *great* manga seris, I highly recomend it!

*Agrees with Seito* Yeah, the tenth volume was... interesting to say the least. I had to read it twice to even have a feeling that I understood it properly.

I'm hoping that the secound seris (>< I can't spell it!) is just as good as the first. <3

Petshop *_* Did you know there's more to the manga? Count moved from California to Japan XD I haven't been able to get more of it though because they released the series on IRC and I can't use that ;~; Anyway I love the series, but that last volume was a bit trippy! PSoH is still one of my favorite manga series because it's such a unique series and makes you see and think about things differently~

@khiro - I just see you everywhere in the anime forum don't I? xD But I totaly agree on the whole see and think things differently. Kinda makes you think what would animals say to you if they could talk.

They probably didn't include a lot from the manga.

x3 Animes and Mangas tend to flow in different directions.

For example, Fullmetal Alchemist. They were similar at first then went off in different directions. =D

The anime was a 4-episode OVA, each based off a random story. I've only seen two- the mermaid/singer one, and the one about Alice, the rabbit girl. I've been unable to locate the other two episodes, so I can't tell you which story they're based around.

Quality series, though. I loved how the little tales ended off madly just as often as they ended up happy and good. The characters were fun, too.

humm i only read the first 4 or so manga volumes of this series but i did really like it ( i borrowed from a friend) though i dont think i would buy it because it doesnt really follow what i usually tend to buy in the manga types i go for ^^;; hum i did think it was pretty amusing that the count loved sweets though ^o^ not sure why but it struck me as funny

yeah he loves sweets and doesn't gain a pound. *sigh* I wish I could eat all my favorite sweets and not gain a pound.

@Seito: XD I think we like a lot of the same series~? Yush! It really makes me wonder what the different animals would look like as well if they had a human form!

Oh! I saw two episodes of the Pet Shop of Horrors anime...which made me fall in love with the series! I saw the Alice/bunnies replacing the daughter episode and the one about the actor who bought Medusa! After watching that episode I fell in love!

The only other episode which wasn't mentioned is the one with the Kirin!

@Khiro - gotta be. xD The forms would interesting, I just think it would be great if you could talk to your animals. Who knows maybe my fish doesn't like swimming in a small bowl. >.>

Oh sheet! They did the Medusa story into one of the episodes?! I MUST SEE THIS NOW.

Medusa one... that's one where the animal lady is a snake with the blindfold right? And anyone who looks in her eyes gets turned into stone?

Yup. And the failed actor gets her, and gets all creepy and obsessive and suicidal with her.

Ah yeah. That story was awesome. xD I think I like the Alice/Rabbits one... that was kinda freaky though. And the Scopion kid assassin one too. *nods*

Yus. Those were also awesome. I also really like... how is his name spelled? Dreizehn? The blind girl and the doberman one. So fuzzy and cute. Dx <3

Another good one was the tiger wall scroll. Horrible bloody ending, but it was good.

Yeah that doberman one! xD I thought that story was so cute. xD I dunno how to spell his name, I just thought he was really cute.

Oh yeah I tiger scroll one. I don't remember that one too well. Something about the girl + the scroll and some kind of gang war.

I also liked the ones with the dancing birds. The star ballerina gets replaced and then meets Count and watches all the different types of birds dance and then goes to get her revenge. xD

Yeah. It was a little girl who like... got caught by an evil gangster dude. He killed, her, but then the tiger came out from the scroll and ate him. =D

Oooh! I remember that one now. That was fun. All the bird-related stories were good, though.

Oh yeah... well the gangster dude deserved that one. *nods* I remember the tiger was just a small kitten.

Yeah I love those.

I thought the one with the teddy bear was one of the creepier ones.
