I love it I've only read the manga but I still love it

The anime to that had me laughing hysterically for the first time {while watching an anime}. It is the funniest anime I've ever seen. XD

Osaka is full of win and cute.

Never seen the anime, fell in love with the manga first read. :]

It was one of the first manga I had ever read, and luckily for me the series had just been released in America. ^^

Ah...I forget the teacher...the one who has the tantrum...the one who was riding the bike in the beginning of the anime and manga...I think she's absolutely hilarious!

hahah i havent actually had the chance to read the manga of this one yet. but i absolutely LOVE the anime. its so darn random! *snort* i watched it in japanese with subtitles with a good friend of mine and after we watched the first few episodes we had to go back and watch chichiyo (er.. spelling) sing her little song again so we could sing it with her >.<; and osaka! or the really sporty girl that i cant remember her name. all my friends and i watched it together and i was nick named the "sporty girl" one ^^;;

Hah! I love this show. The creepy pedo teacher made me laugh so much. I think he's my favorite character. Osaka's also great. But you can't not like her.

hahah your right your right, the creepy pedo teacher really is funny. like when he asks the girls for a glass of water from the swimming pool.. where they had been swimming *snort* cracked up laughing so much on the episode

The anime is one of my favorites of all time. xD~ But I refuse to ever watch it in english. D: My mind can't conceive of them possibly having done a good job of translating half of the crazy shit that goes down, or puns in japanese.
I read the first volume of the manga before I saw the anime, so that's where I initially fell in love. x3 <3

Its one of my favorite series. I like the fact that its so laid back and theres no angst or drama just friends and craziness

*squee* and the little kitties in it are so darn cute. i have pins of them all on my messenger baggy that i carry with me everywhere. mmm and my friend recently brought all my episodes back so i think I'm going to be watching it again here soon ^o^

It's soooooooo bizarre. I don't think I get it. The one pervy teacher freaks me out. I like the girl everyone thinks is cool who really likes cute things like those crazy neighbourhood cats.

My favorite episode would probably be the one where they all have those crazy dreams
and Chiyo's father shows up
and there's a penguin
and Chiyo's father says "Eat your tomoatoes!"
it was just an amusing scene XD
my second favorite would probably be the summer sports festival
or whatnot
when they have the dance at the end
and Kimura shows up and Kaorin's like

• Right off the bat when my boyfriend and I started dating, after watching Excel Saga, he had me watch Azumanga. I'm absolutely in love with it. >w<
  Osaka, Yukari, Sakaki... They may be my favorites, but I love all of 'em. Even creepy Kimura. xDD
  I'd like to read more of the manga, but I haven't read a lot of anything lately other than the boards here and homework assignments. .____.;; I'm sure I'll get around to it this summer. xDD

I love this anime!!~ Its definitely one of my favourites, The manga was also very entertaining.

Its just so hilarious, with no plot and full of randomness...I could go on soo much about Azumanga Daioh.

My favourite character is definitely Osaka aka Ayumu Kasuga (really should be the other way around but ah well....) She's adorable, weird, quirky and I think she's smart as well, though she thinks in strange ways. :D
