If not: here is some info for ya:

Full Moon o Sagashite is based on the manga of the same title by Tanaemura Arina. The story focuses on 12-year old Mitsuki who loves to sing and wants to become a singer. However, she has a tumour in her throat, which might only be cured at the cost of her voice.

One day, two Shinigamis (gods of death from Japanese mythology), Takuto and Meroko, appear before her with news that she has only one year to live.

In order to realise her dream of becoming a singer, she prevails upon Takuto to transform her into a 16-year old girl and took part in a singing audition. Of course, she passes the audition and starts her singing career, but can she realise all her goals in the time she has left?

I saw the anime myself, and I realy loved it.
Kinda 'sailor moon' like in the beginning, but at the end, omg I was so
touched... I am not a type that cries at movies or something but this one

I've read the manga, loved it. I'm not really much of an anime person though. It made me cry at the end though, the manga. So bitter-sweet.

*nods* aye i have read the manga as well (and own it) and its SO sweet and sad at the same time. i absolutely love the art style as well, i use it for ref for a lot of posese sometimes ^^ awww and takuto is such a cute shingami ^^ hahah i should totally dress up for him for Akon this year ^o^

I want to read it, I just haven't gotten around to buying it yet. I've read the first volume at the bookstore. O3O.

If you liked Full Moon, you'll probably like Fancy Lala (similar concept but a little different.) Very cute anime.

I own this series (manga) and it's adorable! But then I love everything Tenamura-sensei has done ^^ The art is wonderfull and the story is cute.

I've read the manga. Pretty good, but not one of my favorites. Probably because I don't have a strong taste for Shoujo. ^^;;;

I think it's kinda cute though.

Most of my manga is shoujo ^^

I'm not too crazy about the anime. I didn't liked the changes they made on the story.

I own all 7 volumes of the Manga and the first 4 dvds that have been released down here.

I love pretty much everything Arina Tanemura does.
Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne is another of my favorites.

I love Full Moon. It is one of those animes that will just capture you from the moment you watched it till the end. It is very heartwarming and very well done in my opinon :D

I'm been wanting to get the manga, since I watched the anime and loved it. I'm afraid I don't have the money or the energy to go searching for a copy.

I've read the manga...but I don't know which one I haven't read yet. I think I haven't read 5 or 6 or something like that...do you know how many have come out so far?

I read the manga!! I loved it! Kind of sad in some parts....

To this day it remains to be one of my favourite mangas. :D

I haven't read the manga or watched the anime but I've seen a few short clips of it and it's definately on my to-do list.

Finally someone made a thread about Full Moon wo Sagashite....

This is by far the best concepted manga ever created. Volume three had three twists in one novel. It was amazing. I cried every volume. It was so sad. I feel so sorry for Mitsuki for having so much love drama at the age of Twelve! That is just ridiculous. I was mad that Mitsuki ended up with Takuto. (even though i love him!) She should have ended up with Eeichi and Takuto should have gotten with Meroko.
I loved this manga. I just hated the Anime. They just had to make the anime have fifty-two episodes!!! :cry:

I only saw the first episode.

Seen the anime months ago now, its cute yet so sad to... especially when Mitsuki found out that you know who died. ;_;

god.. i was in tears and blubering badley, i even knew and saw the clip of it before that scene as well which is weird, because i dident cry the first time i saw it. XD

I prefer Eichi x Mitsuki over Takuto x Mitsuki as well, but i dont think he should of ended up with Meroko she was a little bit obsessed with him. :/

though it is a shojou anime main guy x main girl always happens in shojou (of course there is shojou anime where it dont happen, but them kind of shojou anime are different anyway, just like some shounen have couples in them!)

Read the manga and watched the anime series AT LEAST 30 times now.

I just love it so much.

It's the only anime where i've actually felt sorry/sad for the characters especially when she just wanted to give up. I was all like "omfg poor Mitsukii!!" The whole thing is just so, I dunnp, thought provoking?

I like the manga alot better than teh anime, if only for the fact that they left a character sompletely out of the anime. And I'm just more of a reading person..

Yesyesyes! It's just great how they lead you up to it and then break you down. Well, it's not very nice of course...But you have to admire the skill <3

I actually was kind of hoping Meroko would go with Izumi. ;p

oh man. Her voice in the anime makes me want to punch a hole in the wall. WHY?! Would you ever use a voice like that? It's so high pitched and annoying.

I think it actualy is a good voice, not like all high pitch voices in anime's sometimes.

Damn I actualy want to read the manga too now... Maybe I'm gonna save up gold... errr i mean... money for it :lol:

I also have been watching Fancy Lala lately. Same concept, but a little diferent and older. ^^ Pretty cute!
It's about a child, Miho, who wants to be a mangaka or at least draw stuff,
she also designs clothes and stuff, a very good drawer... And suddenly one
day there are a few.. dunno, stuffed animals that came accros Miho in a store,
and give her a magic scetchbook and pencil so all her clothes that she draws become
real and she can change into an adult, and calls herself Fancy Lala. And then people
discover her and she becomes a photomodel and later a singer.

I like the story of Full Moon wo Sagashite better because of the dreams of Mitsuki,
but Fancy Lala is also fun, a little lighter ^^

i like full moon, both anime and manga
i have the full series in manga and i think the manga ending is so much better than the anime ending cause like yea though it is connected.
i feel sorry for ecchi, he die and at the end they did meet though in the manga he saw her singing but he was like really sad yet happy for her.
i think in all of the anime, the manga is probably alway better cause it have more detial or something.
