My first one was Sailor moon. I was a major fan girl of it. I danced the theme song, I dressed up, and I pretended I was a sailor scout. XD This was like in kindergarten.

Why of corse Salior Moon and Pokemon, but I was like5-ish..? Didn't know what anime was, but after I found Inu Yasha thats when I knew about Japanese comics and anime stuff. and last year is when I became intrested in manga, Hot Gimmick was my first manga xDD

My first was Sailor Moon, then I was in a very huge Pokemon obsession. I watched Dragon Ball Z for a while but I don't know what I was thinking. Then i was anime-less and was clueless with anime/manga until Naruto came along, then I jumped into Otaku-ism. Now it's a very big variety of anime and manga.

Sailor Moon was technically my first anime series *in third grade* and my first anime movie was My Neighbor Totoro <3. Anime felt like an underground thing years back because when you watched it you didn't know it was different from other cartoons until you got older. And there wasn't much selection to me as a kid because at that age you didn't have the knowledge or money to get the other anime out there. I didn't know Sailor Moon or Pokemon were anime but I loved them a lot...still do. XD I have Sailor Moon Seasons 1 and 4 and I need the two inbetween. ><; I have a couple Pokemon VHSs and down from there came DBZ, Tenchi, Outlaw, etc. My first manga I ever owned was Dragonball. <3

The first anime I was introduced to was Sailor Moon. It was because a friend of mine was watching it, but she constantly told me to go to the other room and not watch it because she wanted to be the only one who watched it. One day, I was bored, and I was flipping through the channel’s and found it on TV. Since then, I’ve loved anime since. =P The second anime that I was introduced to was Tenchi Muyo!

That must have been Sailor Moon, Shinzo and Pokemon, although I didn't really knew they were anime then.

Maybe...maybe not but I think I can say this for a lot of people...but my first anime was Sailor Moon...however I didn't really know what it was I just really, really liked...I actually first realized what anime was when I started to watch Dragonball Z...but reguardless both of those anime's have a special spot in my heart.
My main account's username is Majinkoz...and the Majin is for Majin Vegeta...becase I'm in love with him lol and the Koz is the first three letters of my last name. :D |

First Anime was Pokemon here too ^.^ Closely followed by Sailor moon and Digimon I believe. Hm. Actually, it might have been Dragonball Z, I'm not sure.
Manga wise, my first was Yu-Gi-Oh! and One Piece. |
The first manga I was introduced to was DNAngel, but only because my friend gave me the first volume for my 19th birthday.
The first anime I was exposed to was probably either Speed Racer when I was a kid or Pokemon when I would babysit the kid across the street when I was about 13/14. |
when i was younger i stubled across a book drive, they were selling all kinds of books for differnt age groups even some comic's/mangas. the only one that caught my eye was Lum (cant remember her real name) it was so funny with the guy chaseing her around Trying to ask her to cook for him for the rest of her life, always missing and saying it to a bunch of other girls XD
my first Anime that i absolutlly love is astro boy <3 I new what anime was cause i stumbled apon a anime store when i was real young I was the first in my school that new anything about anime and japanese goodies. i did a lilttle project on japan and my ending up teaching my teachers LOL then i got my whole class and most of my school into anime Tehe. |
I'd love to get my school more into anime, but I'm afraid that most of the people that know of anime probably only know of the more mainstream animes like Naruto and FMA, and our anime club is more geared toward watching hentai apparently. I never joined it but my friend did and that's what she said they did.

Ok my frist anime I was introduced to was Salior Moon but I didn't know it was anime at first same with pokemon and yugio and digimon the first manga I read was Fruits Basket, fruba was what really got me into anime in the frist place

I date quite a while back, so you may not know this anime title, but it was the one that got me started. It was Go Nagai's "Mazinger-Z", a mecha show. Ironic that it's the only mecha show I really like, as I am more into romantic comedies these days, such as "Negima", "Love Hina", "Ah! My Goddess" and "Tenchi Muyo!", to name but a few :)
