The first anime I ever watched was probably Digimon. Then Pokemon, and Dragon Ball Z. I also vaguely remember watching Card Captor Sakura. I really remember being obsessed with Pokemon, though. I used to tape all the episodes and collect a whole bunch of the toys. XD My first manga was Marchen Awakens Romance. I think my second one was Fullmetal alchemist, but I'm not entirely sure on that. |

Hmm, the first anime would be Sailor Moon and Pokemon, but I wasn't aware that they were anime x), so it would have to be Inuyasha. Sailor Moon was my first manga.

Sailor Moon or pokemon was my first Anime. I never realized it was an anime when I was little though.
When I actually knew what anime was I guess it was Inuyasha. My first manga was probably... God Child. I don't read it anymore, but yeah I used to. |
Mt first anime was actually Vampire Hunter D and Sailormoon. Manga was i think Area 88 From the library. These keep a speical place in my heart <3
DBZ and Pokemon as well as I was into them before they become uber popular and in America sorta is the defention of anime to those who dont really know what anime is. |
The first anime I watched would be...Digimon! I was *obsessed* with Kairi..she was so adorable. Especially since I was like what, 10 at the time? And the fact that her Digimon was just as cute as her didn't hurt :)
Soon after came Pokemon and Sailor Moon, which were their own obsession phases...but that's another story. |

The first anime that I was introduced was Speed Racer and Macross. The first manga I was introduced to, was Flame of Recca.

I don't know exactly what my first anime was, but one of my earliest was Evangelion. Wasn't the best thing to watch at my age. :lol: My oldest brother had all the anime at that time, so I just watched whatever he would let me. There was also Love Hina, Record of Lodoss War, and I can't remember what that other one was called. But it was not appropriate!! XDDD As for manga, the first one I bought was probably Cardcapter Sakura. That was when they were like pocket sized and almost 15 bucks a pop. :shock: It was probably the first I read, too. |

The first anime was Sailor Moon. I still have a poster of Sailor Moon that's a decade old. >___<;; Kodocha was the first manga introduced to me by a friend.

The first manga I ever picked up was Cowboy Bebop: Shooting Star. I remember standing at the line in Borders and they had a display case for manga. It was only one shelf front and back! I was looking through the titles and didn't really know any of it so I picked up Bebop because I'd watched the show. I didn't even know that Shooting Star was a completely different story. XD
Ah, good times. Oh and my first anime, that I actually watched consistently, was Dragonball Z. My brother got me into it. X3 |
i got my first manga book when i was 10 :] i think it was like Tsubasa :] it was really good and sometimes i still read it

Strangely enough, my first Anime was Speed Racer, on Cartoon Network. I watched it a lot, actually. But the anime I first fell in absolute love and adoration was Sailor Moon R. I loved those little planet warriors so much. I even bought a little trinket that was Sailor Moon's locket that she used to transform, and have it to this day.

I first saw Dragonball and Sailormoon. After watching them both I was instantly a fan of anime. I also owe some praise to Digimon because that was also one of the first shows I really got into watching it.

I really don't remember my first manga, I was, like 6 at the time and would sneak into my brother's room (he's 11 years older than me) when he was gone to read his comics (initially ElfQuest, since I liked the wolves in it), then I moved on to X-Men and other stuff. I know some of the other stuff was black and white, probably manga, but I don't remember too much about it.

I was first introduced to Pokemon as I was getting ready for surgery (I had a tumor in my mouth that needed to be removed--it wasn't cancerous, but it was causing me a whole lot of pain). ^^ I still remember that first episode I saw--the 1st part of the S.S. Anne episode.

I think I watch sailor moon when I was really young but I wasnt into anime then or anything until I moved and saw a bookshop..I was wondering around the bookshop and found a really small manga and anime section and there I saw fushigi Yugi I then thought the art was amazing in a way so I thought I want to buy it and then I got addicted to it and want the whole series and gradually I started wanting more mangas and then I got mroe and more xD
but yea the start of my manga and anime obsession is Fushigi Yugi |
