Cardcaptors. Yes, the American version.. It wasn't that bad, it got me interested in anime =)

Shin-chan, Sailor Moon, Doraemon, Dragon Ball Z, ect. I forgot which one was actually my "first" anime.

The actual "first anime" that I knew was an anime is Card Captors Sakura. :)

First ever anime i ever watched was Pokemon and then Digimon came in not long after, and then i found out about anime throughout the years i had been a fan of Digimon.

and then started to watch it all and my third anime i watched and first anime i knew i was gonna get into a anime was CCS.

and the first manga i got was Gravitation!

The one that I sorta knew was an anime was Doreamon, partly sicne my dad got it from japan for me.
I really didn't get hooked till I started to watch Samurai X and stuff.

I got introduced to both Pokemon and Neon Genesis Evangelion around the same time *nods* They were my first anime series. Not long after I discovered (and became addicted) to Cardcaptor Sakura and Sailormoon though ^_^

I'm still addicted to Pokemon ('specially Pikachu X3 ) and Cardcaptors thooough I reaaaally have to be in the mood for Sailormoon >.o

I only like the games, the anime/mangas just gotten too, I dunnp complicated? I can't think of the right word. I kind of gave up on it after the first 150, and then dropped it completely once they released more and more and more and more Pokemon.

The first ones I ever saw were Sailor Moon and Pokemon. Though, my first ones in Japanese that I saw were Fushigi Yuugi and Card Captor Sakura. And, these were all before I was seven.

The first manga I was introduced to was Maison Ikkoku (sp?). I was kinda confused at first. The first anime I saw was Pokemon. I don't like how they've come out with the new seasons and characters of it though.

Being a child born in the early 90s, there's really only two shows that I could rightfully call my first animes.
I'll leave you to guess what they were.

Well my first naime I know of was Kiki's Delivery Service. Like most people I also had Sailor Moon, Hamtaro, Zoids, Pokemon, and Yu-Gi-Oh XD And then Rurouni Kenshin <33

I remember my cousin used to force me to watch Dragonball Z all the time too, I never liked it beacuse of him... xD

The first anime I watched knowing it was an anime? Inuyasha.

The first manga? The all-new Tenchi Muyo! I didn't actually own it though, it was my friend's and I thought it looked cool. xD

actually Sonic the Hedgehog was the first one I was introduced to....though most don't consider that an anime. So the first I guess would be Rurouni Kenshin

Do you mean 'official', professionally published manga, or would online manga suffice? XP

If not, then "Ouran High School Host Club" is my first addiction/real taste. <333

  Yhe first animes I ever watched would have to be Poke'mon, Outlaw Star, Dragon Ball Z, and Sailor Moon. They were amazing back then and I still feel the same about them. I'm so happy they have DBZ back on tv; makes me dance. If only they brought Sailor Moon back I'd possibly cry.
  
  Now the first manga I ever read was Chobits two years ago in eighth grade. It was very dirty in a tastie way if I must say so. The second one I read was Clamp which I read the day after. I wasn't a huge fan of it, but it was decent. The horrible part is I never got to finish either of them... Makes me want to weep.
  

Well, my first anime was Pokemon. Then came Yu-gi-oh. I still like them. xDD
I don't like Yu-gi-oh GX, though, so I didn't watch that. The original is much better, in my opinion.

My first manga was Sailor Moon. I didn't know the word manga, then. I just thought of it as a comic book. xDD I don't like Sailor Moon, anymore. Though, I still think the art is nice. But, the plot is boring-ish to me.

But, the first manga that started my obsession was Inuyasha. It's not my #1 favorite anymore, though I still like it alot.^^

Well I actualy was watching Anime and I didnt even know what it was.

Dragon Ball Z and Salor*sp Moon and CowBoy Bebop. I stoped watching DBZ becaus I was sure it was for boys and I stoped watching SM because I was sure it was for little girls :roll:

I knew about Pokemon and I didnt like it,..hated it infact I had no Idea what all the fuss is about, still dont ._.

But my Vary first Anime was Inu Yasha,..I fell in love with it,...It was my first Manga and my mom was fliping throusg chanels and there it was on Cartoon Network,..I was like " OMG!!! " ....Might I add I was a freshman at the time,..I was alowed one spaz attack.

Thanks to my parents, I grew up reading Doraemon, Dragonballs, Dr.Slump, Saint Seiya and Nagaraboshi Gin(not too sure about the name >.>;;;; it's about a group of dogs that travel all over Japan in order to gather force to kill the bear with a trail scarlet fur on its back). The other manga I read when I was younger, though not the first, included City Hunter, Ushio to Tora, Dr.K and so on~ :)

my cousin ask me to buy the Kodocha manga so i end up buy the first 5 volume and that is when i finally got addict to manga and now i have like over 130 volume of manga and i think it kind of waist my money but i still feel content ^-^
note: i only been collecting manga like 2 or 3 year ago. i start collecting it after i brough the first 5 volume of Kodocha

Dragon Ball Z

The first anime was the movie Akira, I saw it when I was really young but I don't think I fully understood it at the time either >.< I honestly don't remember my first series.

The first manga was.. .Rurouni Kenshin I believe. Though that was before manga were being translated into english. I liked looking at the art.

I was first introduced to Nurse Angel Ririka. I totally wish i could find it again. I borrowed it from a friend. and now i don't talk to that friend anymore. it isn't availiable anywhere in america unless i've missed something. grr!

Gundam Wing - my friend introduced it to me. She kept ranting about how great it was and I really didn't understand a thing she was talking about, so she invited me to her house for a looong marathon and I fell in love.

I watched Sailor Moon before I saw Gundam Wing - but it was one or two episodes and i couldn't stand it - so I don't count it as my first. lol I think I'm one of the only girls in my grade that resisited the Sailor Moon fad. Some of my friends were OBSESSED with it XDDD

But yeah - Gundam wing will always be my first love. Wufei and Zekes were my favourite characters :D

the first anime i saw was prolly totoro. the first manga i read was nausicaa- cuz i liked miyazaki stuff
