The first animes that I regularly watched were Sailormoon and Pokemon.

Well the first time I heard about animes or mangas it was cause a friend and the first animes that I saw wear Inu Yasha

But when I was younger I use to see Pokemon, Dragon Ball Z, Ranma....

And now I see lots of animes I get use to them!! I love them!!!!

The first anime that i was ever introduced to was Sailor Moon but at the time i didnt know what anime was and just looked at it as a cartoon..when i really started getting into anime was with inuyasha which was also the first manga that i ever read too.

Sailor Moon and Dragonball Z around the same time. Inuyasha was my first manga also. =3

• Pita-Ten, I read the whole thing backwards though by accident, so the next manga I read was Kodocha which I read the right way so it's the first one I actually understood.

Digimon! I was so into Digimon it wasn't even funny. I love Pokemon and everything, but Digimon is where I reallllly got totally obsessed.

Well, until the first season ended, anyways. D:

What got me into watching subs, though, was Card Captors. I was such a hardcore fan that I decided it wasn't enough to watch it just in English. It was such a shock when I found out just how much they cut. o__o

I can remember when I was around 2 watching my uncle's old Speed Racer videos. And then I was introduced shortly afterwards to Castle in the Sky and Kiki's Delivery Service. Around that time, I started getting into DBZ, Sailor Moon, and Pokemon as welll, and from then on my horizons concerning anime expanded as many many creators started creating more while I've grown older.

But yeah, those were the first ones I was introduced to, and anime's come a long way in about 20 years. Amazing to say it's that been that long, almost, but you look at some stuff like Nausicaa and the Valley of the Wind which was made in the 80s and compare it to present day stuff like Bleach -- the styles have changed drastically. Even comparing Sailor Moon or DBZ to some of the newer things like Naruto. They're classics in my book, still, but I have to say the newer styles are more partial to my tastes.

My very first manga was Battle Angel Alita.
I was about ten at the time.
My first anime was actually Speed Racer as well.
It's been ages since I've seen that though.
I've become a slight anime/manga addict though.

My first anime AND manga was Sailor Moon. I first discovered it in like the year 1999, which is when SM was the big thing among kids in China. I was in kindergarten or something. Doraemon comes quite close though. I'm actually not sure which one I discovered first, but I never really had interest in Doraemon XD

Well soon later, in my last year of kindergarten in the year 2000-2001, my classmate brought in an episode of Digimon to class, and I was somewhat interested. During the summer, my friend (who I had swimming classes with) got me into Digimon and we watched it on TV everyday. We watched it everyday until near the end of grade 1, when I came to Canada. Then I learned English, discovered subs and bought my first manga (Sailor Moon) when I was 9.

My first anime would have to be Ronin Warriors! Hell YES!
My second would be Sailor Moon. Those were the days. Getting up at 6 in the morning to catch it XD
I didn't even know that it was called anime. It was just a show I really liked. I think the third one for me was Rouruni Kenshin cause of my next door neighbors(they collected it). They told me about anime lol

As for first manga...I think it was Chobits. At least first finished. I want to collect those. It was such a sweet story.

The first anime I watched was pokemon and sailor moon (although I didnt know that it was anime at that time -__-') Then it was Digimon (I liked digimon better than pokemon) I havent seen any of them in a loooong time! Forst anime (that I knew was anime) I saw was Naruto. Then It was Blood hunter D, Hellsing and Elfen Lied.

Pokemon it would have to be. Although looking back on it i don't really consider that an anime for some reason. Theres just something about it that seems different.
Then it would be Cardcaptors, Digimon and Sailor Moon had a few episodes show but i never got into that and i think it went off pretty soon.
I've seen episodes of Naruto, Tokyo Mew Mew and Fruits Basket more recently on youtube.
The one and only manga i've ever read was Tokyo Mew Mew Volume 1.
