Ahaha, the first anime I ever watched was Pokemon. Back then, I didn't even know the word anime. xP Then came Yu-gi-oh.

My first manga was Sailor Moon, which I dislike now. But, I only read a book of it before getting a bit bored. Inuyasha was the first manga I really obsessed about. That was years ago. xDD Now, I've read alot...over 60 series...xDD Manga is my obsession.

I really do read more manga than I watch anime. I can't live without reading a book or two everyday. xP

Hmm, I think the first anime I saw was either Sailor Moon or DBZ. We'd only just recently moved to the US and were fascinated by the style of DBZ XD My oldest brother really got into anime, and I got introduced to more stuff that way. I think other early ones I saw were Evangelion and Ai Yori Aioshi (or something like that)... not very appropriate for my age XDDD Oh yeah, and Tenchi/Outlaw Star and other stuff they used to have on Toonami. But the other ones came first.
First manga was probably Cardcaptor Sakura, I still have it somewhere... it's so tiny compared to the ones they release now. <3
I think I read more manga than I watch anime, too. But that's also because a lot of the manga I read haven't been released as anime. I've probably got hundreds of dollars worth of manga, though! XDD I just have stacks of 'em. 8D

It seems so silly now. One book is the same as any other in that series. Nothing new ever happens.

At the time I was amazed and knew nothing better though xD I still love Digimon when I see it though, trying to find the Japanese episodes ^^

Then the first "real" anime was Love Hina.
I was on an irc for an old download program called WinMX, and someone told me I could download episodes of things, and told me to get Love Hina and then send it to them on msn for some reason. Never saw them online again and I watched it myself and loved it, so funny ^^ I was about 13/14 or something so I must of had a perverted mind even then xD

I think Tenchi was my first. Then Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star, Pilot Candidate and Inuyasha.
I fell in love with Cowboy Bebop. I bought all the DVDs and the movie.
Pilot Candidate is really good too, altough I haven't seen too many of the episodes and can't remember too many of the ones I have.
Outlaw Star is good. Reminds me of Firefly.
Inuyasha is the only one I don't like anymore. It's too cheesy.
Good old Adult Swim, without it, I'd never seen any of these.

The first manga I ever read was Wallflower. I think my first anime was...um...Hellsing. Yeah, I think that was it. n_n

The first anime I ever saw was Hana Yori Dango, when I was still in high school. I went over to a friend's house, and she'd just gotten the video tapes in the mail. Now that I look back on it, I think they were old-school fansubs. XD

I didn't really get into anime until years later, though, when I saw Inuyasha on Adult Swim.

My first anime was the ThunderCats.

Well, anyway, the first anime I was serious about was Gundam Wing. I didn't get to watch too much, but I was obsessed. I knew I admired Relena, a fact that did not make me popular in the Fanfiction area.

After Gundam Wing was Sailor Moon, then Inuyasha and now my favorite manga is Hellsing.

My Hellsing fandom is the longest lasting. Over two years. Yay for Hellsing!

First manga introduced to me was Chobits. That was the first manga I ever read. I only have 1-3, though. First anime was Dragon Ball Z.

Excluding Pokemon, the first anime I ever watched was Blood Plus. I'm still not a big anime fan, but it's decent.

First manga was probably Tsubasa. I hated it, though. I loved Hollow Fields (though I doubt many of you have read it). First manga I ever loved.

The first manga I ever read was Tokyo Mew Mew. My friend had it, and I loved it!

The first anime I ever saw was Inuyasha.

Sailormoon was my first anime, found just browsing the tv and my forst mnaga was Iron fist Chimini which my uncle gave me.

Sailor Moon. I watched it on T.V. in the afternoon back when Cartoon Network was starting up.
I was in class with this girl who had a Sailor Moon binder and I started talking with her and she was like, "it's too bad they haven't brought over any of the episodes with the Outer Scouts." And I was like, "oh... there are more episodes?" At that point I didn't even realize Anime came from Japan. Two months later I was at my first con. :P

As far as I can remember, My first anime was Sailor Moon. I wasn't a fan, though I liked it.
I started reading manga not that long time ago... So my first was Naruto, yes. And first manga, that I bought was Othello.

Well, the first anime I was ever into was Sailor Moon way back in pre-school. I only watched it because my brother told me it was like Power Rangers. Why he wanted me to get into Sailor Moon? I'm not sure xD

But I wasn't introduced to mangas until early in high school. My first manga was either Fruits Basket or Azumanga Daioh. I can't recall.

My first manga was Yotsuba <3 I forget my first anime though...I think it was either world of Narue or Naruto. I'm not sure =P

those where my first anime's but then after a few years I started watching "real" anime's.. I started with Hellsing then Elvenlied and Bleach, and now Strawberry Panic!

My very first aniem was Tenchi Muyo. Thats was my favorite anime for a long time. I miss that anime. T_T Ryoko was an awesome character. My first manga was actually No need for Tenchi. ^-^ I used to be a huge Tenchi Muyo fan.

I started back with Thundercats, Ronin Warriors (Samurai Troopers), Voltron...etc

The first show I watched knowing what anime actually was was Fushigi Yuugi.

My first manga was also Inuyasha. I really don't like that one anymore. I like the last fantasy, and i luv halloween.

I was obsessed with Pokemon for a little while in first grade. But I didn't know it was anime. Then I discovered Yu-Gi-Oh later, and became obsessed with that too. n.n
