Techi Muyo, ah, I can't beleve they are still playing spin-offs and follow up series on Funimation! In my opinion, the first series was by far the best.

Especially with Tenchi in Tokyo and others with Sakuya. Gosh I hated that girl!

Discuss:

Ryoko or Ayeka? Maybe even Mihoshi?
Or even Washu or Sasami?
Or..if you are feeling risky, Sakuya or Kiyone?

And if you're into that Furry scene, theres always Ryo-ohki! :o

Of course, he may never choose any, on account of all the hearts he would break in the process. (Speaking of which, what is so attractive about him?!)

Anyway, Jurai seems like an interesting planet to me. The whole in-family marriage and prolonged life still gets me though.

And all youy GXP watchers out there- watch the original episodes, or I will use my right to call you a newb.

  The last Tenchi movie made it seem even more obvious to me that they were meant to be together.
  I'm not only a huge Ryoko fan, I also adore Washu.
  Mihoshi was good comic relief.
  Sasami, Ayeka and the cabbits were cute.

For next year's convention here I'm going as Ryoko. At first it was hard to decide between her and Washu, but I like Ryoko...more.

Of course, it would have been easier to get my mum to let me dye my hair a carrot top red.

Instead of atomic turquoise. Not to mention my father, I'm not even asking him.

It was always about Ryoko. Ayeka's too self-centered and haughty. Sasami's too young, Washuu's only interested in him for empirical reasons (oh, and a bit of fun on the side. But mostly science). Mihoshi was never intended to be interested in him (but then, she was never supposed to be a goddamn retard like they turned her into after the first OVA ... grr.... she's just supposed to be stressed out!)


Besides, didn't they finish up the original OVA storyline with a sequel recently? I haven't had the money to check it out, but it was said that Tenchi would finally make a decision as to which girl he really loved.

And if you count everything after the original OVA, Ayeka does admit that Tenchi is in love with Ryoko in that melodramatic crapfest Tenchi: Forever!

There's the first volume. It just came out this year here, I think. It didn't get a lot of press 'cause, you know, it wasn't gonna be on Cartoon Network. You know, where the animes come from e.e


EDIT: Reading the reviews, it sounds like the creator promised a resolution, but misled the fans into thinking he meant with the girls. Instead, it looks like you find out more about Tenchi's mum and fans were pissed because it clashes with continuity. OR something. I dunno.

I've actually heard who Tenchi ends up with... 8) But I'll leave that a secret.
I wish I could find the first episode on youtube.
As for spin-offs. It can be confusing, but I find it fun. I like Pretty Sammy. X3 It makes me laugh.
And I like Ryoko best for him. But that just me. :wink:

I like Sasami the most...but I don't think she's old enough for Kenshin. So I'd go with Ryoko..I don't really like her, but it seems like the most likely possibility.

Aw man! I haven't seen that show in so long! I completely forgot how that anime goes, or the names of the characters... Shameful, I know, lol. The only thing that I remember is that there's a bunny that I thought was SO CUTE! xD

I used to watch Tenchi Muyo everyday when I was younger. I'm so mad it doesn't come on anymore. It was the best.

The Ryoko/ Ayeka fights were the best. :3

xD I hadn't thought about Tenchi Muyo in years before this year. It was one of the first anime I watched regularly on tv xD Sometimes I wish they would bring it back...

T_T Poor Kiyone. I always just feel bad for her every episode because she tries sooo hard but Mihoshi always ruins everything.

If I had to choose someone for Tenchi to end up with, it would have to be Ryoko I think. Ayeka is just too annoying for me to want to wish that on anyone. xD Or maybe Sasami... she's the most mellow and useful person in the entire group. And she's cute too!

Personally... Ryo-ohki and Ken-ohki are my absolute favorites. *fluffles them*
