Any one heard about this one?

Plot Summary: Karin Maaka is the middle child of a family of vampires which immigrated to Japan 200 years ago. Karin, although technically a vampire herself, is very different from the rest of her family. Instead of lacking blood, her body overproduces it. In order to get rid of the excess blood, once a month, she must give in to her urges and find someone to bite. Instead of drinking their blood, she gives them some of hers, leaving both her and her “victim” feeling refreshed and energetic. Despite these troubles, she still goes to school and holds down a part-time job. Everything is going reasonably well for Karin, until a transfer student, Kenta, joins her class. For some reason, her body instantly reacts to him, and begins producing more blood than she can stand. He eventually finds out about her body’s problem, which leads to quite a bit of difficulty. Now, yet another complication has been added to Karin’s already very complicated life.

I remember watching this. It's quite a good and funny series. I don't know if I cared for the name change to Chibi Vampire though...

I've been wanting to pick up Chibi Vampire since I first heard about it (by accident on youtube looking at an AMV for Love Like Winter) Everything I've been able to find online and/or download has me really interested.
It's not as pretty as I usually prefer but the story is unique enough and it's got Vampires, so I definitely want to see more.

i like karin/chibi vampire cause like i almost like all of the vampire anime cause i really like anime about vampire and stuff like that. also the character i like most in karin/chibi vampire is karin little sister. she is so cute and calm and alway have a little doll with her. i have yet read the manga but i have watch it. it think it a really funny anime and the vampire buster dude alway very funny. karin family alway very cool and funny. i also like karin brother cause he like a play boy and i think he is cute/handsome, caring [in a way], and cool. her grandmother is very pretty, prettier than her mom, she cool, skiny, and funny, also her story was sad. and the last episode i almost thought karin family was really dead but thank goodness that they didn't. i was so sad but was o supride that they alive ^-^ and the ending is funny too and it very sasisfly [i'm very sorry for the spelling error]

I greatly enjoyed what I've read of Chibi Vampire thus far... Which is volumes 3-5. I accidentally bought the last 3 manga they had at the bookstore along with the 2 novels of it they had... I assumed they were all novels. So now I have to go back and get the first to manga to be less confused. Despite that, even if I am confused a bit, I know the series is great, though I don't think I'd go watch the anime... Once I read the manga, I don't tend to watch the anime for some reason... I just read the manga again.

Hee, you mean Kenta. They bothered me too at first, but after awhile I came to like how different they were <3.
I loved Chibi Vampire... haven't read the manga, but I thought the series was fun. It was a breath of fresh air from all the more serious vampire series.

I LOVE this series. I've read up to volume six of the manga, two of the novels, and I've seen all of the anime. It's just really great. Probably one of the only vampire series I'll ever enjoy. xD

I love this series, but I have a hard time finding it at the Borders where I live, so I'm usually a volume or so behind. >_<;. I own 3-6 right now, and novels 1-3. Unfortunately, Borders only has novel 4, and that's it. :(. I anxiously await the day they finally stock 7, and 8, but it'll probably be a good 2 months before they do. *sighs*. It's too bad this series isn't that popular, though- it's one of a very limited number of vampire series that can appeal to even people that aren't fans of the genre. As for the anime, I have yet to see it. I really want to, though. :). I would have bought it all had Geneon not went under. >_<;. I really hope that someone else picks it up, and SOON. It's really a shame that they stopped at DVD 4. :(.

The anime was very interesting. I loved the opening theme! It was a really cute love story, though I was expecting something more than that due to some scenes in the opening theme. XD
