Japanese. English makes them sound, ugh, bleah! :( I hate the english ones except for cased closed... Or maybe it's just because I can acually understand japanese... :sweat: lol so I like JAPANESE anime! XD

I like both but only for certain ones. and I think that's because if I first start watching an anime in japanesse then I prefer the sound of their voices or I get use to their voices so the english sound horrible after that, but it also works vice versa. So I watch almost all of my anime in japanesse, except of deathnote so far. I can watch the japanesse version but the english one has a little extra to it. I can also watch full metal alchemist in english, but I prefer the japanesse one

the only one i prefor in japanese is Gravitation. the english dub it just horible. i dont really care if the other ones are in english or japanese.

Japanese version...to some degree at least since I've only seen two anime in the japanese version. The Law of Ueki and Elemental Gelade.
When I saw them both in English I thought the acting could have been better.
Though when you've watched anime in english as often enough as I have...the Japanese version in others is slightly strange.

I only go for the japanese, but when it comes to Excel Saga, it was better in the english until they got a another voice for her. It is funnier when you can understand it instead of having to read it. Also, the person who does Excel Saga's voice in the japanese, is the same person who does Usagi's in Sailor Moon.

Haruhi is better in Japenese.

Hellsing is good in English.
Alucard is dark and sexy not just scary.

His japanese voice is too scary.

It really depends of the voice actors, some of them i'm fine with while others I just can't stand. Too bad my favorite anime ( Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro ) Doesn't have a english dub yet. :/

i prefer watching english because i dont have to read much. And with the japanesse i liked listening to them speak :P

i prefer the animes i watch subbed. often, when the anime is in english or in other language other than japanese, it's either the voice is weird or annoying or sometimes the voice doesn't really suit the character. also, the meaning of some conversations or narration sometimes is changed when they are in another language except their original language

I like to watch in Japanese. But some of the animes are in English good too, fo example Shaman King. Probably because I first saw it on TV and there are always dubbed ones. Bakugan isn't that bad also.

Overall I prefer japanese subs. With most dubs I find the voices do not fit the characters or they are out of sync... My pet hate is when the voice does not fit the character at all for example in Naruto Kakashi's voice just sounds so,so wrong it is difficult to explain why. That could just be me though.

I have watched a few dubs and liked them. So far I have liked; FMA, OHSHC, Hellsing (The japanese version cannot beat the Hellsing dub), Howls Moving Castle, The Cat Returns, Excel Saga and Dragon Half. One thing I do know though is that if something is dubbed by Funimation I'm more likely to give the dub a go as they seem to do half decent job finding voices that seem to fit the characters. I never expect perfection in a dub as I can imagine that doing a good dub will be really hard. Especially if the names are difficult to pronounce >.<

Sub wise I love Deathnote, FMA, Excel Saga, Naruto, Bleach, Skip Beat, Junju Romantica, OHSHC, Kuroshitsuji and Ergo Proxy

Any thing I want to watch needs to be in Japanese. If my husband is watching it, it doesn't matter as he reads the subs aloud to me anyway. This makes it so I don't really have to pay it any attention. If I just want it on a back ground noise, English is fine.

Well it depends, if the voices sound better in Japanese then I would rather watch it in Japanese and read the subtitles. But if the voices don't sound right then I'll watch it in English, but most of the time I find it better to watch it in Japanese, makes me really pay attention to the show and I enjoy it a lot better.

I prefer watching anime in Japanese with english subtitles. I usually find the voices for English doesn't match the personalities.

i am really weird with anime if i see it in English i wont ever watch it again so i watch all my anime in Japanese

A lot of times for me it depends on what I saw it in first but then again sometimes one or the other just comes off as better to me. The dub quality on Bleach is superb. It's getting better all the time as the studios are getting the funds to hire better voice actors and more talent is lending itself to voice overs. It's taken anime 30 years to become mainstream in the USA and it's only in the last couple of years that they've really been able to put the funds into good quality dubs. I like being able to watch a show and eat a meal at the same time without the worry of missing dialogue! I'll always love the fact that DVD has made having both audio tracks available a possibility as most shows I'll end up watching in both anyway.

Well, it all depends. I prefer watching Naruto, Naruto Shippuden, Bleach, Full Metal Alchemist, Inuyasha, Fruits Basket, Heroic Age, Moribito, Ouran High School Host Club, Gravitation in English dubbed.

I hope these stay English subbed cause they are perfect: 11 Eyes, Princess Princess, Junjou Romantica, 07-Ghost, Amatsuki, Aishiteruze Baby, Loveless, Miracle Train, Vampire Knight, Bartender.

I prefer Japanese in almost every anime simply because the voice actors actually try and wont annoy the hell out of me...there are a few exceptions, though. For some reason I like Swedish dubbed Sailor Moon better than the Japanese one. Maybe because I've watched it first so the characters voices grew on them. And Usagi is blonde so it suits her to be a swede. :'D

Then there's the Ocean dub in DBZ. I can watch it because I dont take the anime seriously and everyones acting is so overdone that it becomes amusing. If I watch something regularly I'd rather watch it Japanese without subtitles than with an English dub. At least I'll understand most of what goes on...and I'll save my ears. But for each their own I guess.

I think Japan does a good voice on anime though it is hard to find good english actors. I loved the English version of Cowboy bebop but hated the Angel Sanctuary....Rosiel's voice was soooo annoying.

I usually watch just about any anime I come across in Japanese. I just find that they did a better job with the voices and now that I'm used to hearing it, it just sounds more natural to me. There are a few shows, like Death Note and Bleach, that I think they did a good job with. Others, like Naruto, Cardcaptor Sakura, and anything 4kids gets their claws into, were laking.
