Has anyone watched this? It really is the best thing since buttered toast...
They basically took an unpopular Japanese animated series, bought the rights, threw away the script and ad libbed the entire series (Not literally... I'm sure some lines were scripted, but very loosely). So a serious show became an all out comedy.
It's basically a bunch of kids who have to catch ghosts and such that have been released. Think Scooby Doo... There's even a talking cat.
It's so funny in the most wrong ways...

I can't believe no one has replied to this!
I was skeptical at first but after watching it it killed me XD Some of the jokes they made were very recent.
Amanojaku - "Think brokeback mountain"
And it had plenty of well known voice actors including Chris Patton, Greg Ayres, and I forget but the girl who voiced Satsuki XD
Favorite character has to be Amanojaku but it's followed in a close second by Momoko and Keichiro
"It doesn't matter how often they attend mass, your parents are still going to hell."

I'm in shock that it seems that few people have seen this series. It truly is a greatly done one at that. I first saw it randomly on Anime Network with my dad one day and decided to try it out, then we got the series on disc. The many jokes they pull are hysterical, and the characters just add to the fun.
If I had to choose, my favorite characters would probably be Hajime and Keichiro. I don't know why, but those two just make me laugh hysterically!
