What's your favorite genre in anime/manga~?

If I had to say I'd say I like Drama the best^^ But Fantasy is good too...Actually I like a lot of different types XD

I'm also terribly fond of action/adventure, especially if it's high-energy action. I love a good manga with badass fights... Like Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. :'D

those are my most favorites out of the 6 Romance then comedy and then yaoi would be top 3

Comedy and Romance (BL AND Ren-ai) though lately im getitng sick and tired of romance really X( seen/read to much of it, so thats why i favour comedy first now X3 because its not often you get a anime where my side's split in two (like KKM, Ouran and Fruits Basket, Pri Pri to.)

Shoujo, comedy, romance. =D Those are the main things I look for in anime I watch. :lol:

Shoujo and Shounen for me, the two most typical I guess. xDD My inner girly loves the romantic stuffs but since I'm such a major tomboy it's not surprising I like Shounen.

Tomboy: NARUTO, DRAGON BALL Z, DEATH NOTE!! >F

the type i like most is adventure and fanfasy combine.
i really dont know which genre i like best really. all i know is that i like this 3 type of genre

My favourite genres are horror and comedy. Thinking about those two, they're complete opposites but the majority of my mangas comprise of those two subjects.
However, I hate romance mangas. Just blech!

I think Drama and romance.. because I love to see how relationships evolve >w<.. And It's usually twisted in some weird way that makes it more interesting ^^ [But I don't like it when all the manga stories are the same.. >_>; I, personaly think that this 'girl pretends to be girl and goes to boys' school' thing is appearing in almost all manga I think look good XD.. Soo.. I bought one where there's a BOY in a girls' school XD.]

I don't mind a good romance every now and then but what I really like is comedy. Serious and horribly sad manga just make me depressed after a while. XD I also like action-filled stories as well, thats why I generally read manga like One Piece and Bleach.

I tend not to like yaoi and stuff like that, and its not like I'm a homophobe or anything. But the plots just don't seem very creative, most of the one's I've seen just pretty much have cookie-cutter characters and overall plot that's not that interesting to me. I dunno. >>;;

Magical girl series make me giggle. :lol:

My favorite would be a gothic/magic/action one. I really like Bizenghast and it describes the genres I like the most. I also really like fantasy series like Tsubasa and XXX Holic.

• I like drama, romance, yaoi, some action (nothing completely focused on it). I've found some war books to be decent, if there are magical powers included. Comedy is all right once in a while. I like serious manga's with funnies thrown in here and there. OHSHC was all right, it was pretty funny but it isn't one of my favorites.

I like Many Genres,But the ones i like most Is the fantasy,Comedy,and action/adventure Manga/Animes.

Comedy and andventure for me, definitely. Romance tend to bore me (or rather; the female leads usually do), but as long as there's a decent storyline and fairly good art I'm willing to stray into other genres (as long as it's not too extreme).

Most of my collection is shoujo magic but I read about anything except horror. I have shoujen and yaoi too so I really don't mind violence and nudity.

I watch and read a number of different genre, from comedic romance to yaoi/yuri. Actually, now that I think of it, I've only seen a yaoi... Never read one or anything.

If I had to choose, though, I think I'd say comedic romance is the best! =D

I have a wide range of genres which I appreciate. Though, one of my favorites has to be comedy. I mean, who does love a good laugh? I also enjoy action, horror, fantasy/ science fiction, and a bit of romance.

It has to be funny. If it's not comical, I can't read or watch it. I like things to make me laugh.
Then you add a pinch of romance, a dash of adventure and action; maybe even a sprinkle of fantasy and BAM!
You got the perfect manga! 8D
