We watched the first two episodes in AnimeClub, watched the rest on youtube and it's been my favourite anime ever since. <3 (I like it even more than Ouran. D:!)

Anyone else out there seen it? Thought on the series? Favourite characters? Least favourite characters?

Personally, I looooooooooooove Andre. And Oscar, even thought she can be a total knob sometimes. XD;

This series is seriously one of the best anime to exist. Oh man. I remember watching the first four episodes at Otakon, and rambling with my best friend over it for the next week. Then we got a torrent of it, and ramble about it to this very day.

Riyoko Ikeda is amazing. You seriously need to look into some of her other works. They all rule. Oniisama e is a particular favorite of mine.

I so agree with you on your choices of characters, but Marie Antoinette made me want to giggle at her and slap her at times. She was so retarded it hurt sometimes. Andre, however= <333333333333

OMG OMG OMG. DID YOU KNOW? The French made a live action film in 1979 based off of the manga. I've been trying madly to get my hands on it, but I've yet to find a copy. D:

At AnimeNorth last year there was a couple dressed as Oscar and Marie and I drooled for like 5 minutes. They were really nice, though. *took like 10 pictures* XDD;

Yeah. I know one of Japan's theater troupes did a play on it, but I've been unable to find anything other than an advertisement poster.

Still. THIS SHOW IS BADASS. Classic anime at its finest.
