My is Reiko the Zombie Shop. For the longest time I thought there were only 3 volumes until about 2 weeks ago when I saw volume 6 in a local comic book store, and nearly died of happy.

I think mine is Vampire Princess Miyu, with Petshop of Horrors a close second. <3

• I haven't really read any, but in high school, the parts of Pet Shop of Horrors that one of my friends showed me were quite creepy and gruesome.

• The only one I have read was Uzumaki. It was...quite disturbing and gross. @[email protected] I have a phobia of snails/slubs/worms, and what do you know...there they were, giant snails...

Mine is definitely Petshop of Horrors, if you consider that horror. There's enough comedy and happy endings mixed into the death that I'm not really sure what to classify it as. Hellsing would be a close second.

Ha ha... I never considered Petshop to be a horror series. Though if it is, that's my first choice. That's my favorite manga of all time, though.

The only manga that's ever scared me is Ghost Hunt. It's amazingly well written, and the art combined with the story is just enough to make me uneasy when I turn off the lights to go to bed. Remarkably, I felt the anime was just as scary and well-done as the manga. Fantastic series. If you haven't tried it, definitely do.

Hellsing. I met the creator of Hellsing, Kouta Hirano at a convention. I won a raffle...and he drew the winners pen sketches of their favorite characters. Well I chose Jan Valentine, 'cause he's amazing.

Gantz is great too, but more gross/crude than horrific.

Uzumaki or Tomie. I'm a gigantic Junji Ito freak.

They are the two I own. I have seen more horror anime then I have read manga.

I think the only horror i read is Ghost hunt, but seen the Pet shop of horros OVA.

though i say Ghost hunt!

I forgot to add in Amigara by Junji Ito... it's a short work, a bonus story to Gyo, but it's very unnerving.

It's amazing. It's about a petshop run by Count D who sells animals that look like people. The animals may eat people, or they may make someone's life better. But often they are dangerous, which causes Detective Leon Orcot to start investigating the pet store... :D And it's one of my favorite series of all time.

I'm not sure if Parasyte is a horror manga, per-say, but I've read the first volume and a lot of the things in it give me the creeps. It's a really good series so far though, I can't wait for the second volume to come out, whenever that will be.

I haven't really read anything else that can be considered "horror" manga, but I've heard of everything mentioned. Maybe I'll give a few of them a try sometime soon here.

• @IshokuOsero: Oh wow, I read Parasyte a long, long time ago. O_O Back when it was released by Mixxine. It's...definitely a horror manga.

i love vampire princess miyu... tho it's not all that scary... but i think it classifies under horror cuz it's about a vampire...
(that's where i got my name.)

i also like vampire knight... tho that's not really scare either. i guess i just have a thing for vampires. ^^;

I don't read or watch horror manga/anime because I'm just a... chicken! xDD The only horror anime I've ever seen was Ghost Hunt, which is really go. So I pick that!
