i have to travel a lot to get to a bookstore that has it so i usually go once a month and buy a little stack lol

i have quite a lot now and im really proud of them there my babys lol

They're expensive and far too short in my opinion. I used to buy a lot until I became less interested in manga/anime. My sister has a lot of my old ones. I can't bear to part with my favorites, though. I have less than 30 in all though.

I use to buy on average 3 manga a week, 3 anime DVDs (or one boxset) a month. right now I'm buying MUCH less (almost none in fact) since I'm kinda in debt from when I got hospitalized in October. once I'm able to work more (since I'm still recovering) I'll be able to buy more, but until then I have to resist the temptation to buy as much as I use to.

I tend to just buy multiple volumes at one time, but I think it would average out to about one a week, give or take. I used to buy more, but now I've got bills and rent to cover, too. ^.^;

I used to be a weekly compulsive buyer of manga, but I stopped buying them three years ago. I haven't found a new series really worth buying since. :T

I used to be at the book store every week when I didn't have to drive there myself. Now it's hardly ever. I did just go a few weeks ago and bought a couple books. I wish I had some more.

To bad getting to the closest book store is a half hour.

I'm not really on any routine. It's pretty much whenever my mother feels nice enough to take me to Hastings (the only good bookstore around this dump) and gives me money for something. Which, is not often ^^;;

strange i'm never realy go ga ga over figurines. i like to look at them thats great and al. but its never like...need to have this. give it to me.
same whit anime. i just have it with manga.

oke i did go gaga over the clamp no kisiki. thats cos i'm in my dream world of playing chess with my bf with clamp serie carackters.
and the books are fun to.

i have the fullmetal alchemist pocket watch. i like having stuf like that
but is a bit hard to find. big problem is that not every serie has them.
i don't realy like the naruto headbands. but i dig the frogwallet.

Every 2-3 months I buy a manga, and that's mainly because I have to wait for the volumes in the series I'm following to be released.

Anime I don't buy so much any more unless I find a boxset of a series I really like

It really depends.
Now I'm buying two or three manga per two-three months (one is published every two months, and another one every three, so it's a bit variable), because they are finally printing something interesting for me. But a year ago I was buying nothing or almost nothing, so I can honestly say that it depends.

And I always buy bunch of manga when I'm abroad if I know the language. Where I live, there are only a few titles ;___;

As for anime, I don't buy it - I'm more into comics, I prefer book form.

I buy manga at least 3 times per month, I think. I buy anime maybe once or twice per month, probably because they take a longer time to finish :P

It really depends, for me...it depends how often my mangas/animes are released. I've recently finished my Saiyuki and Scrapped Princess anime collection, and the only other anime I know I'm going to buy in the future is the third Gurren Lagann dvd.

So far as mangas go...I haven't found a new series that I was REALLY interested in...in a very long time. So, suffice to say...I like a lot of series that aren't very popular, and most of them have ended/are ending. So...I'll buy around one to five manga a month. I used to buy more, but...eh.

Very rarely. It's too expensive and time consuming so I keep it at a minimum.
My sister and I did find the fourth volume of MeruPeri at a used book store this morning and grabbed it. It was cheap.

Manga purchases for me average out to about every 3-4 months, I think. I only purchase anime maybe twice a year unless someone is clearing out ex-rentals at a low price.

I buy my anime and manga off of ebay. :D Only cos i like deals and full sets.

I hardly ever buy manga, but when I do I usually end up buying 4 or 5 at a time. x3 Honestly there are just too many series I would like to own, but that would just be too much money...so it's kind of depressing. I've starting buy my manga at Walmart because they're usually about $3 cheaper there. Or I choose a series like King of Thorns which is a relatively new series where the author takes awhile to complete a volume. x3

I never buy anime.... It's waaaaaaaaaaay too expensive. Besides I usually like the new series that are just airing in Japan and not licensed here. ^^;;

I don't buy them often, maybe like 1 once a month. takes awhile to get a collection, but at east i can afford it if i do it this way.

I used to buy multiple volumes of manga every month. But I found that I wasn't always enjoying them as much as I wanted to and resale value sucks, so I told myself that I was not allowed to buy brand new manga anymore, only used. I haven't bought anything sincer actually. Same for anime. It's expensive and I didn't have a lot of money to burn. So I'm on a dry spell of purchasing my anime and manga.

When I first started getting into Anime, I bought a DVD for like a few episodes of a series every couple of weeks. Basically whenever I could afford it. Though after buying three or four DVDs and my interest in anime intensified greatly, there was just no way I was going to be able to afford to buy anymore DVDs or be satisfied with so few. That's when I turned to the infinite internet, where I now get all the anime I could ever imagine. So yeah, now I pay nothing and get the episodes a lot sooner than I would if I waited for them to come out on DVD.

Usually i buy one a month, normally from the Ghibli Studio collection, but last month i got hooked on Ergo Proxy, and bought the whole series, i literally spent £100 on 6 DVDs!

I used to buy manga once a month, but now I just go to some kind of market once in a while and buy it there x] I have too much! xD I can't buy any anime where I live :[
