I've been collecting this series quite avidly since I first heard of it. I just thought I'd poke around and see if anybody else likes it as much as I do. ^_^ I haven't seen the end of Kaleido Star: New Wings yet, so don't tell me what happens!!!

My favorite character is Rosetta. I'm actually going to be cosplaying as her soon, if not for this coming A-Kon then for Mecha Con, which happens in the fall. If you see me, holla!

What I really want to know is: what do other people think of this series? I know what I think, but I'm curious to hear other peoples' opinions. Myself, I'm delighted with the fact that this series is very playful and light-hearted, unlike a lot of the darker doomsday-is-coming animes that are out there (not that I don't love them, too). It reminds me of why I loved Sailor Moon so much (which makes sense, because they have the same director). What do you think?

Okay, anyway, yeah, actually ADV is having a sale right now, and since number 5 and 6 are both $15, I think I'll just buy 5. Maybe if they have 6 at A-Kon ('cause I seriously doubt they'll have another sale between now and then), I'll get it there.

Yes, I ♥ Sora too, but my favorite by far is Rosetta, and Anna runs a close second. ^__^ How much have you seen?

I have not seen Kaleido Star since Anime onDemand was canceled, but from what I have seen of it, I thoroughly enjoyed!

Oh my gosh! I love Kaleido Star! It really makes me want to do gymnastics! It seems like the people are flying in the air! Oh I love it!

Yeah, I know! Now, I have a question: which show was your favorite? Mine was the pirate show, when Sora and Layla had to do that swordfight on the ship! I was on pins and needles at the part where they were practicing the scene out on the ocean during a storm!!

That's one title I wish they'd import in our area. Kaleido Star is really exciting, even if the plot is quite stellar for the real thing.

I like Rosetta too, But Layla Hamilton also gets my vote. She struggled quite a bit to get where she was now... even if she was a snob at first, I'm glad she eventually warmed up to Sora Naigino.

As for the favorite show... the Little Mermaid act really did it for me. The initial showings may have been total flops because Sora imitated Layla's style, but when she came into her own, it was a big hit.

Plus, it had the distinction of having girl/girl pairings, with one actress (whose name I forgot) playing the role of the prince. ^o^

Oh yeah, I had totally forgotten about that one!! X-P I think it was Anna playing the prince... maybe. She's the only logical female for that role.

I also really loved the show with Sora and Rosetta, the Diabolo Battle. I rewatch it sometimes, and it makes me squee. ♥^_^♥

Oh! I've always wanted to get into this series! <3 I've never been able to download it though, though.. I guess I shouldn't be though xD;

Well, it shouldn't be available for download anymore, 'cause it's been licensed for a while... unless somebody's doing something very illegal... which probably happens a lot anyway... X-P

It was interesting at first, but after the user stopped uploading the episodes on Youtube, I stopped watching it. xD I know guba has the episodes, but the anime got kind of boring to me.

The second season is pretty exciting. I'm not going to give any more than that away, though, and since I haven't seen the end of it, giving it away might be kind of difficult... ^_^;; But I agree that near the end of the first season, it is kind of like the same thing over and over again. X-D But I wuv it so! I just lent my entire first season to one of my friends. *spreading the love*

There's a second season? =O hehe.... Maybe I'll try that one later too..

I do remember watching one episode while I was in Korea though during summer vacation.. but I don't know what season or how far into the show it is, so I guess I shouldn't mention it.. I love their outfits though =D And everything is so colorful *^^*

Heh, yeah, that's what I thought. I thought that would be a good reason to attempt to cosplay somebody, too! X-D So I'm trying. Unfortunately, progress is slow, 'cause their costumes are pretty complicated... although I can definitely think of more complicated ones from other series, lol!

Oohhh that does sound like fun =D hehe yes, of course there are more complicated ones out there x) But yeah, the costumes are definitely going to be one of the reasons for me watching this show =)

I especially loved the three fairy godmother outfits in the Cinderella episodes. X-3 They were soooo adorable!! I want to get two of my other friends to cosplay as those three with me--it would be so awesome!!

I haven't seen Kaleido Star since I lived in Houston, where I had AnimeNetwork ONDEMAND.
It was suprisingly good for a shoujo.
