- So I went though the five pages and didn't see anything about Gravitation. Am I wrong? lol. O'well. This will just be locked and deleted later on if there is. But tell me. Yeah. lol.
For those who don't know.
But Gravitation is totally about the gay pairing of Shuichi and Yuki. Shuichi wants to be a famous singer and him and his friend have a band called "Bad Luck" basicly just a guitarist and a vocalist. And they want to get noticed and be one of the best bands. Like Shuichi's favorite band. I forget the name of the band. lol. But it has his favorite singer, Ryuichi. And he tries to be just like him. But one day, Shuichi just had writen lyrics for a song he was about to do. And he was walking and the wind blew the lyrics out of his hand. And a famous love story writer sees his lyrics and tells Shuichi he has zero talent. Shuichi gets pissed off then tries to find the guy. And he ends up falling in love with him. And you'll have to go from there.
If you have read it or seen it. Tell me what you liked and all that.
Who is your favorite character?
Have you seen it in Anime or read the Manga?
Why did you start reading/watching it?
What do you like most about Gravitation?
I like Shuichi the best. I like how in the manga, he was so clumsy and when he would try to cook or anything, he would cut himself and bleed all over the place, but it never happened like that in the anime. I also like how when he gets really badly hurt, it never really affects him later on. Its like nothing. I started reading and watching it because of my friend. He likes those mangas and animes with gay couples. lol.

I can't even remember why I got into it, because I was never one to read any shounen-ai or anything like that back a few years ago when I read it, but it might've been the fact that there weren't really any other series that were about music careers that were out here in America in regular bookstores.
I really love the series though, and I just had to buy the entire series after reading the first book. I got it all in two days, and read it in that amount of time also... and then looked for and downloaded the entire Anime series soon after, because I was so hooked. It's one of my favorite series still and it's actually the only anime I've bought the entire series of (yeah, I finally got it last fall so I didn't need to have the files on my computer anymore, haha), and it's also the reason I got into Jrock. I love Kotani's songs with the soundtrack and I looked further into his stuff, and then ended up downloading some Dir en grey, Hyde, and Gazette because I started gaining an interest in Japanese music. So really, it's what helped change me into the person I am today. xD
I think my favorite characters are Ryuichi and K, just because Ryuichi is hilariously insane, and K is that stereotypical American dude, which makes it funny (at least to me xP). Shuichi is cute though, haha.
Hmm.. I have to say the thing I like most about Gravitation is the very last two pages of the last volume of the manga. It's so cute and sweet and made me cry of joy (yeah, I'm an easy crier ^^;; ). It was such the perfect ending, I loved it. Granted, I also liked the point where (spoiler) Ryuichi sung when Shuichi couldn't get a sound out during that very first concert.... it was so awesome and I loved the way it was in the anime too~.

Yes i both read and seen it.
well... more so to speak i seen the entire anime but only got frst lot of volumes!
my favriotue character has to be Yuki and Hiro, but really truly Hiro because i only like Yuki because his looks is just... O_O;;; woa... something.. well... to me magnificent *at least in the anime anyway* i LOVE his eyes and the completion of his skin.
i read both manga and seen the anime.
well i first started off with the manga, but then saw the anime and dont think i got anouther volume untill just few days before christmas last year (litrally Saturday O__O;; yea.... lucky ne?)
what i like the most? well my answer to that is the humor in it, thats why Gravitation anime was dubbed as one of my fav anime of all time because i LOVE the humor (humor like KKM, Ouran and Fruits Basket!)
random sillyness that has you in laughter that you cant breath xD somethign hooks you then something eles happens to harden you laugh!

- ^ Yes, I love the random sillyness in it as well. I've had so many laughs while reading the manga and watching the anime. And I agree about Yuki. I love his eyes. I like how he looks more in the manga rather than the anime. But thats just me. ;x

- Oh gosh. I love that part as well. That song that Ryuichi is one of my favorite songs I've heard. lol. I totally love it. And the last of it is very nice. Have you Read Gravitation X? My friend bought the first one not too long ago and I've read it. Its pretty good. I never did want Gravitation to end. lol.

Yeah, I've read the first book since that's the only one that's out so far. xP
Oh, something I didn't quite like though, was the fact that the manga had "No Style" as the main, most popular song, but the anime series kept talking about "Rage Beat". I was a bit annoyed at that. ^^;

I loved Gravitation.
The first couple of volumes of the manga were not very good. The art, the story, and the comedy really picks up as it goes on. I would not recommend quitting now. It gets really engaging. :)
My favorite character is Yuki. To avoid spoilers, I'll keep my reasons beyond he's hot to myself.
I could not get into the anime. The animation wasn't very good, and I was not fond of the voice acting. Loved some of the songs through.
I got into the series, because my friends made me read it. Not something I regret!
The humor and the drama really grabbed me. I love spontaneous, random explosions of expressions and actions.

- lol. I feel the same way about the anime. I watched it and I totally didn't think the voices suited them. The songs were very nice though. I had the choice to watch it in Japanese but I really didnt want to have to read subtitles. lol. xD And I also got into it because my friend made me read it.

I actually haven't tried to watch it in English yet, although I do have the entire dvd set for the series and OVAs. ^^; I'm a little bit curious, although I love the Japanese voice acting and I think the voices fit well with the characters, so hearing all these bad replies about the English dubbing scares me a little bit. ^^;

Haha, laziness is the best way to go sometimes. Wish I could say that with most anime though, because it would be great if more had decent dubbing. Then I could "watch" it with my eyes closed instead of watching with the subs and picking out words and phrases here and there that I actually understand so I can go "OH HEY I KNOW THAT" and everyone around me attempts to strangle me or get me to just generally shutup. xD

I love gravitation. I've watched all of it, but I've never finished reading it because I haven't bought it. I don't know how I got into it because the first episode was so... odd. XD But I can't get enough. I want the GX series, because the art is cuter.
I bought a Ryuichi plush. :]
I've never seen it in english and I don't want to.

YUKI! <33
Tohmos kinda annoying sometimes but I love him.
You just can't hate Shuichi xD
Don't care much about Hiro but he's ok.
But Yuki is my fav by far.
Grav Ex was awesome, too XD but they took it away from Waldens. Glory hole!
I do have all the Bad Luck songs seeing as I was in love with Seki Tomokazu long before he was Shuichi X3 or, at least before I knew he was.
K makes me proud as an American <33

I've seen the entire Gravitation series. I actually watched it a while back, maybe last year?
Anyway, I loved it. It was so funny, but it would always turn so serious right when you thought it couldn't ever become sad again. And yet they managed to work in the humor even during the most serious scenes.
I actually haven't read past the first Gravitation manga. I have it, but the art has kept me from actually continuing on. Shuiichi just looks so... Manly. XD;;; I'm sorry, but I'm used to his really girly-looking self from the anime.
It's also kind of odd how the art progresses over the volumes of manga. I haven't read them, but I've seen a good amount of the covers. And as each volume passes, the characters appearances become more like their anime counterparts.

I LOVE Gravitation.
I've read all of the 1st series, most of the remixes and megamixes, and the first volume of Ex, as well as seen the entire anime and OAV (which I own, as well as the manga) and read both the novels.
Maki Murakami is a sex goddess.
I love her sense of humor.
I've also read 2 of her other series, Gamerz Heaven and Kimi no unaji ni Kanpai!
I'm obviously a big fan of Shuichi. xD
My friends call me Shuuichi or Shuu IRL. Seriously.
But actually, Yuki is my favorite character.
He's just so...angsty but lovable.
I love his "Get the F*** away" attitude.
Maybe I'm just masochistic.
I have a Kumagorou plushie that I got signed by Unicorn Table and Piano Squall. xD It goes to every con with me.
Anyhoo.
I've made a Gravi AMV, and I regularly cosplay as Mr. Shindou Shuichi. xP
I cosplayed him in an actual skit and we won 1st place and a trophy. =D
At Nekocon one year, as Shuichi, I saw a Yuki cosplayer and ran and jumped over the rope line to glomp him and drag him off to sit in cosplay with me. xDD
Anyway, Gravi was my very first BL, and will always have a special place in my heart. =']
Also, I love love love Kotani Kinya.
I've done karaoke for 2 of his songs. And techno-rock sort of stuff is my favorite genre of music.
Finally, I heard there is a live action version of Gravi coming out (no pun intended) at some point. Anyone know anything more about this?

This was one of my first ever anime/manga, and it's still a favorite. I just fell in love with Ryuuichi and K-san <33 Who doesn't love his "It's show-time, folks." Ehh, and it doesn't hurt that his seiyuu is the same sexy one who did Crawford's voice in Weiss Kreuz! But then, this show shares more than one seiyuu with WK, so of course i love it x'3
This thread makes me want to watch and read Gravi all over again! Maybe not the Remixes, though... they were great in high school, but ehh... well, now that i think of it, they were pretty darn terrific x'3

Overall, I did like the show. I haven't read it, only watched. But still, I did enjoy the storyline. At the time, I was still kind of OMIGOSH YAOI *nosebleed* so, it bothered me a bit. Now I'm just like meh. Still, the characters are very well developed, and it's hilarious to boot.
