Anybody seen this anime before? or read the manga?

well i seen the anime (one OVA anyway) but it was the dub -_-;; and.. i freaked out non the less..... so it scared me into buying the manga XD;;;

so far i got 2 volumes of it XD;;; and there was a huuuge gap in between them to.

sorry if this thread been made already yet again checked but dident see anything.

• Love Tokyo Babylon. One of the first CLAMP titles I read, which means it was one of the first mangas I read. :D I adore Subaru...and to see him grow up in X was just awesome. >3
  
  I read some of the manga first, then I saw the OVA, then I read a little more of the manga. Couldn't find more of it since the translations and scanlations were taken down once TokyoPop acquired it.

I only read the first two volumes, but the rest is not available in my country, nor the scanlations are up anymore v_v It's a pity, since I was loving it so far. Subaru is too cute!

I've seen the OVAs, and they're not as well done as the manga, though I loved the character designs~

I read the manga~. I thought it was very good and interesting *_*!

Except the end TT;;. OMGGGG the end was so sad and I hated it T___T;;; *weeeps*

I was introduced to the OVA a very, very long time ago. I don't remember a lot of it, but I've still got the gist. ^_^ All I can say is that I loved the art (duh, 'cause it's CLAMP, lol), and I loved the villains. They were everything that the villains needed to be in a story as weird as that one. I seriously applaud CLAMP for their villains (well, in their stories that actually have villains, because some of them don't, like Wish and Chobits and such). That chick from X/1999... Hinoto's sister, the one with the Dragons of Earth. (I really cannot come up with her name. X-P) She was fantastic! Anyway, back to Tokyo Babylon--I think I would like to see it again, so I can remember more, lol. ^_^;

I own the entire manga series and the DVD of the OVAs; I really love the relationship between Subaru and Seishirou. So heart aching...

Though I know some fans hate the version that X/1999 the series made of the couple, I really loved it too.

mmmm i agree... its a shame how they ended the whole Subaru and Seishirou thing (i watch's X and know spoilers of it) luckily tohugh theirs always Tsubasa, im hopeing that Tsubasa will have a happy ending For Kamui and Fuuma same with Seishirou and Subaru (even if they are AU)

I haven't read it nor seen it yet. But I know of it. =3

Dont worry i will when i can ^^ ever since i got the second volume and that certain chapter(s) i been inspired to, Sei-san reminds me a bit of Seimei to so yea. XD

Tokyo Babylon was the first manga to make me cry. D; I was young when I first read it and was so upset that I returned it!

Only to buy it again two years later. xD It's really an amazing series. I love all the characters to death, especially Subaru~<333

I adore TB! It remains my favourite CLAMP manga to this day...

Seishirou is a hero ;D ..and a bit of a git. But I like that XD

I'm sad I never managed to get into X/1999... despite trying, I read half the series and then sort of failed to keep going.

I remember watching the OVA years ago. I can't remember a lot about the story. I seem to recall that I enjoyed it and the art was pretty--but I think I was more enchanted with the clothing designs, rather than the storyline.

Why would you be twisted if you said you liked them together for? i think everybody (or almost nearly anyway) that read this manga likes them as a couple (unless some mad ren-ai fan saw the dub of coruse. ^^; )

what involving Tokyo Bablon O__O this goes to show that ren-ai fans can be obsessed >>;; and stupid people dont think about it because they all think its just yaoi fans.

But it ISENT just yaoi fans you can get obsessed yaoi, ren-ai AND yuri fans >>;;;

Ren-ai: with their flaming and being blind (the whole but he's not gaaaaaay accuse when they should know that anime characters have no sexuality and love is love based on the person NOT the gender!)

yaoi with their obsessing in all shape and form.

and yuri with the same situation along with their pretending that girly boy main characters are girls (and trying to convince people to eg: Mizuho from Otome wa boku ni koishiteru, Touka from Touka gettan.)

and now to say that they do it to TB to? -_-;; thats just ridiculious EVERYBODY knows that Seishirou and Subaru are getting it on it hints it BADLY!!! especially in x i mean i saw this screenshot of (spoiler)Seishirou kissing Subaru before he diesand tthey think pairing them up is wrong? -_-;;

oooh maaaan that IS stupid i mean come oooon they return in Tsubasa to and i suspect theird be something between Fuuma and Kamui and Seishirou and Subaru (hope so)and their is meant to be no Hakuto or Kotori this time to.

Hakuto isent even really a threat anyway -_- its only because of editors what they did to the dub, in anything eles she is the one that actually TELLS Subaru that theirs something going on between them two -_-;; not to mention i think theirs a thing between her and Kakyou to!

also why do people flame people for liking something to? when it comes to cartoon slash, and needless yaoi incest slash (like Sesshoumaru x Inuyasha, Itachi x Sasuke) i dont flame i let them be and yet to think theirs ren-ai fans that just have a go when they slash two normal male characters together when they go off and slash stuff that aint cannon honestly -_-;;;

I am such a Uchicest fan XD It cracks me up.
