I love fruits basket! I think it totally rocks!! my favorite character is kagura. I
also like the rest. I think Tohru is the sweetest character shes kind and lovely!

I like it. Its so sweet but it not my favorite anime or manga. Kugura is one of my favorite characters too.

I remember I watched that right after I finished watching the Ouran High School host club series. From the amazing animating in OHSHC then watching Fruits Basket, it was kind of dissapointing. But it is a good anime I think.

You got to remember that animation-wise Fruits Basket was a few years older than Ouran High School Host Club. It's not my favourite story but I did find Tohru and Kyo and many of the other characters likable at the time I watched the anime and read the manga.

Fruits Basket was one of the first manga I have read (Tokyo Mew Mew was first) and to this day, it is one of the very few anime/manga that I don't absolutely hate any female character in them; granted, I tend to only hate female characters when they try to butt their heads in the middle of couples I ship, but that's another story XD

I like Kagura, but she was borderline butting heads into one of my ships (Kyo and Tohru) but other than that, I loved all of the characters. I wish the last book was just a little bit longer, only because for me, it didn't really seem like it was worth the same price as the others. I have yet to finish watching the anime for it and honestly, up until now, I totally forgot that I never finished it XD

Kyo was always my favorite character. I quite enjoyed the manga. It was fun.

The anime on the other hand was useless, pointless, and disappointing on so many levels that it literally made me rage.

I think my favorite characters would have to be Kyou, Yuki, and Momiji.

Momiji and Hatsuharu. First manga I ever read and I loved it!

Fruits Basket was my first manga (I am not as much a fan of the anime because it doesn't do the source material justice...)
and Kyo Sohma is and forever will be my favorite manga character.

Fruits Basket was my first manga when I was in middle school, so it forever has a place in my heart.
However I have moved on to much deeper and meaningful manga and anime.

I feel that Fruits Basket is a good starting place in terms of reading manga.

When I watched the anime version..... needless to say it was too short, the last episode left u at a cliffhanger[headdesk] and the anime came a little close to the manga but the manga kept going not the anime.

I was totally hooked on this series since around 2008; I cried when the anime finished X( I'm pretty sure that Fruits Basket was actually the first manga I ever read properly, come to think of it o.o Great series, anyway XD

I think my favourite character was Yuki for a long time, but then it changed to Hatori. I love that man. XD

I love the fruits basket anime. I don't really care if it ends near the beginning of the books but I love most of it. I don't like the ending because of how really badly cut off it was since they could have tried to cut it off a little cleaner around the first half of that episode. My favorite characters from the anime are Kyo, Shigure, and Hiro. In the manga I really like Kyo and Hiro since the deeper and deeper I get the manga the more and more I dislike Shigure.
