I suggest Meru Puri. It's got both a lot of romance and comedy.

If you like uber-sappy romanctic globbity-goo/magical girl manga, I suggest Kamichama Karin or Tokyo Mew Mew ((lol)). They also have a little bit of comedy thrown in and very good illustration, as well as little side-panal comics and extras in the back :3
If you're looking for something a little more on the dark side, but still has good art and comedy, go for Pita Ten :3 |

I'd also like to second the recommendation of Penguin Revolution. You could also try School Rumble or Kare Kano for school romance/comedy. |

i suggest "those who hunt elves" or fruitsbasket which ever u think is more interesting but TWHE is hilarious it is about these human people who are in the elven realm trying to get home but in order to do that they need to go around finding spell fragments which are imprinted on the other elven skin which means that they have to go around stripping the elves

Try "Wish" from Clamp. A cute four-volume story about angels, demons and a few humans who get caught up in their strange mess. Love, humor, a touch of religion and 100% KAWAII! XD

I'd say to definitely check out Love Com (Lovely Complex) and Honey and Clover, bmoth are really sweet stories about love. Love Com has more comedy in it though, but it still a fantastic story. Honey and Clover is a little bit more serious. ^.^
