Junjo Romantica is a yaoi manga series by Shungiku Nakamura.

its a really good read but beware people it is a yaoi/shounen ai so be careful yaoi haters

Misaki arrives at Usami Akihiko's apartment and feels embarrassed because Usami is obviously very rich, as Misaki is a poor student. Misaki's brother Takahiro is the one who got Usami to tutor Misaki. Misaki walks into Akihiko's apartment, and while Akihiko is sleeping, he picks up one of the books that Akihiko wrote. It's a boys love book and Misaki immediately realizes that Akihiko is a boys' love novelist, and the book he wrote was about Misaki's brother! Outraged he wakes Usami up shouting at him and is somehow forced into bed, thus beginning to realize his sexuality. After their first tutoring lesson Misaki becomes better acuainted to Akihiko and his grades in school go up. He gets his report card on his brothers birthday, but he has forgotten it was his brothers birthday and runs into Akihiko on his way, home. Akihiko reminds him of the special date and they walk to Misaki's house together. When Takahiro gets home he tells everyone he is getting married. Misaki immediately realizes that even though Akihiko is acting like he's okay with it, he's really crying inside. Later Misaki confronts Akihiko about how he really feels about his brothers engagement. Akihiko cries in front of Misaki even though it is really embarrassing for him. It was in those moments though that Akihiko realizes he might have fallen in love with Misaki, thus starting a very long relationship between the two.

its an a mazing story and it made me cry at school
when i had a free lesson and read it
its a mix of a few different stories but each are as great as the last i just want to know if anyone has heard of it or would be interested in reading it in the future

its amazing for any yaoi/shounen ai fan
but more yaoi of course

my favirite story is probably the main one about misaki and akihiko as it makes me laugh and cry all in one and leaves me really confused afterwards...not that this is a bad thing

sorry for the christmas themed picture at the top its the only one i could find of the manga because it isn't very popular at the moment but it might be different in america or wherever you live

so anyway i just want your opinions whether you've read the book or not
or if you wanna recommend some yaoi/shounen ai go for it i will look up any suggestions

or even normal manga or anime its all good!!!

oh yeah boy princess i have heard of that one i was gonna buy it at the last convention i went to but i ran outta money cuz i spent it on some manga plushies

A friend of mine passed on the scanlations to me to read. She really likes the series (she was reading one of the un-scanlated volumes of it when I met her). I didn't think it was bad. Not as up there as it could be, maybe, but still a perfectly decent story.

I've read up to volume 2 or 3 and I really like it. The side stories sometimes confuse me but I love the whole series even if it does confuse me. ^^

I think my favorite non-human character is the huge teddy bear. ^_^

as much as i love yaoi scenes its only interesting if there is a good storyline

it sounds like i manga i would get along with since i rarely understand anything LOL it has pretty art though (im a artist so ive always loved looking at all the pretty art that alot of mangas have)

I've read both J-Boys and Little Butterfly. They're both pretty good. Little Butterfly doesn't go into too much in the first one, and J-Boy's is actually an anthology of one shots. Some of them are pretty explicit, but most are decent. I enjoyed both though, along with Golden Cain, Passions, and Love Recipe. All great, even if they are a little explicit.
